Have You Been Duped?

Have you ever been in a relationship where you realized you have been duped? Have you ever been involved in a “power play” working environment? Have you ever realized you were used as a “pawn” in someone’s personal scheme? How do feel once your eyes are opened to the truth? Do you feel “taken?” I often wonder what it will be like on Judgment Day when those who have been duped look straight into the eyes of those who “duped” them into believing there was no Creator—that the world—and them—simply “evolved” from a primordial soup over a very long period of time. They cry out, “But, YOU told us…WE believed you. Sadly, their eyes will be opened, but it will be too late. There will be no recourse or “Now, I see” moments.

Psalm 8:3-4 declares, “O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, You who set Your glory above the heavens! When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon, and the stars, which You have ordained—What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?

In the beginning, God physically separated the dark from light. Two thousand years later His son, Jesus Christ came and spiritually separated the dark from the light—the holy from the unholy. Many teach that it took billions and billions of years for things to die and mutate, die and mutate, die and mutate—death built upon more death and destruction for our world. But the “God of light” says that He did it all in six days, and it was v-e-r-y good. There was no death, no destruction, no decay involved in the process. Of course, it wasn’t long before sin entered into the world, through man, and the death and destruction followed.
