October 3 Delivering the Gospel

If chapter 1 of 1st Thessalonians is about salvation, chapter 2 is about service. Christians serve as Ambassador's of Christ, delivering the Gospel. Looking at the problem and the power, then the message and the messenger, Paul reveals a "boldness of God" in delivering the Gospel in a very difficult situation. Paul came "from the frying pan into the fire" when he went from Phillipi to Thessalonika. Paul's work shows us how NOT to share the Gospel, and how TO deliver the Gospel.
