Death by Stuff

Materialism brings about death, but it is a deceptive death. Using Achan’s sin, Dr. White displays the deception that materialism brings into our lives. Achan was not a poor man, but he wanted more, more, more--even that which God had placed under the ban. Much like Achan, the Prodigal Son coveted that which was not his, and died the death of “Stuffism.” Both of these young men thought they deserved what they took, when the stuff, in truth, belonged to the Father.
