America's founders, and the Congressional Secretary during the Revolutionary
era -- Charles Thomson, the man also known for finalizing the design of the Great
Seal of the United States. Some historians claim that Thomson refused to publish
his own history of the American Revolution lest he should "undeceive" future
generations about some of the founding fathers. Yet this view has been currently
challenged. Has Thomson's quote been exaggerated? Or was he really hiding
