Worldview Matters presents a keynote presentation delivered by Brannon Howse on Sunday evening May 10, 2009 on "An Educational System Without God and the Consequences". President Obama has said that his educational policy will be “From cradle to career” but what exactly does this mean? In this presentation Brannon explains that when God is removed from an educational system, the state becomes god and an individual’s only worth is whether or not they are productive human resource for the benefit of the state. Obama is seeking to fulfill the goal of the Tenth Plank of the Communist Manifesto, a goal that has been in the making for many years, the merging of education with industrial production. This goal involves a planned economy and a system where those that embrace the worldview of the State are rewarded and those that maintain a Biblical worldview are pushed into positions where they can have little influence or infect others with their Biblical worldview. Brannon concludes his presentation with Biblical examples and two stories of hope for facing difficult days.
