Phil Johnson, for the second week, was asking MacArthur questions about his book Strange Fire that will be released in October of 2013. In this program the focus is on the providence of God versus signs and wonders. Today many people confuse God’s providence with a miracle or what some call signs and wonders. The ability to perform signs and wonders was given to the Apostles to validate their message and the foundational doctrine of the church they were laying down. God does not give the ability of signs and wonders to anyone today but He certainly would not give this ability to false apostles for many reasons but one reason is that God would never validate the message of false apostles.
