Description: The High Priestly Prayer has been said to be the most remarkable prayer prayed by our Lord before the cross. As we begin part 1 of this prayer, we will consider Christ’s prayer for Himself. As we do we will consider: The Posture of His Prayer; The Petition of His Prayer and the Purpose of Christ’s coming! As one man said about John 17, “Like Moses at the burning bush, we would do well to remove the shoes from our feet. The place whereon we now stand is holy ground.”
