This week's Proclaiming the Gospel Broadcast covers the latest effort to create unity between Evangelicals and Catholics. The Freedom Federation drafted a letter defending the biblical position of marriage between one man and one woman. The document was signed by highly influential Evangelicals and Roman Catholics who falsely declare that "we are united in our common faith in Jesus Christ." Mike and Jason discuss the biblical exhortations which forbid believers to have unity with unbelievers and to how they are to remain sanctified in the truth. They look at the confusion these unity accords have created within the church. Because of such unity accords, evangelicals do not know whether to evangelize Catholics or to treat them as brothers and sisters in the Lord.
