John Whitcomb: July 29, 2019

God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end! When the Apostle Peter stood before the crowds gathered in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost, he had the opportunity to declare the Word of God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. He explained how Jesus was crucified and risen again. That same gospel of grace can still make a dramatic impact in the lives of those who hear it today. Our speaker, Dr. John Whitcomb, will also proclaim that message today as we continue in Volume One of a new series called “Acts: Witness of the Early Church.” Acts is the only New Testament book that Dr. Whitcomb—an Old Testament scholar—has taught through comprehensively. Thanks for joining us to listen to the conclusion of this message about “The Pentecostal Sermon.” As host Wayne Shepherd explains, Whitcomb Ministries desires to make its gratitude known to Middletown Bible Church in Middletown, Connecticut, for their assistance in bringing this audio to you here on “Encounter God’s Truth.”
