There are many people wondering and expressing the question, why is there so much chaos seemingly in our nation and all over the world? The verses of God's word set out hereinabove tell us the answer. The Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son. The Lord Jesus Christ is the second person of God's holy Trinity. He made all things and without him was not anything made that was made. The 5th verse tells us that he is the light of the world. “The light shined in darkness and darkness comprehended it not" This nation and the entire world is in increasing darkness!
Many Christians have wondered why, though they have given their life to the Lord Jesus Christ, they continue to sin. They may ask, why do I have wrong thoughts and actions? Why do I have resentment, envy, jealousy, hatred, spite, lust, and anger, as well as others? I thought I was done with these! Many Christians have even wondered if they really are Christians. You may know some like this. You may have had these thoughts yourself. It is my hope that a look at Romans 5:12-21 and Romans 6:1-14 will help you to help others and yourself also.
Why is There Death and Suffering in the World? As we see hundreds of thousands of illegal people coming across our border, and drug cartels pushing drugs across our border, you may wonder, what is going on? As we see crime soaring out of control and calling for police and law enforcement agencies to be “de-funded”, you may wonder, what is going on? As you learn of racial hatred actually being taught in schools in America, you may wonder, what is going on? The increasing push of some toward Marxist Communism by so-called progressives may cause you to wonder and ask, what is going on? We see the beginning of the answer in Genesis 3:1-4 quoted above.
This is God’s rich mercy. No matter how much mercy you believe that God has- He has more!
Therefore, the call is to “Repent from our sin,”and “believe in, and receive The Lord Jesus Christ”. He calls us to “Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) Therefore ,we turn from our wicked ways and purpose and endeavor to live as becomes the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
In these difficult times and perilous times this is a liberating passage of scripture. In Chapter 5 of Romans, the Apostle Paul tells us that “by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
As more and more reports of fake votes, illegal votes, and votes allegedly from dead people continue to mount, astonishment and amazement also increases and mounts. More and more people “fret”. To fret really means to worry and to fume and to be vexed. In other words, this magnificent Psalm is telling us in its opening phrase NOT to fret because of evildoers. Of course, almost no one frets because of “good doers”. Vexed means to be annoyed, frustrated or worried, and it also means feeling or showing irritation, annoyance and /or distress.
The violence, rioting, plague, murders, stupidity in defunding the law enforcement, as well as, preventing police and other law enforcement officers from stopping crime and criminal acts in this country, have been well documented. The people promoting Marxism and Communism are generally known. Antifa and others seeking to overthrow and destroy the government of the U.S.A are also known generally. There are also people who profess to be Christians promoting Communism in churches and denominations around this country. Marxism and Communism is at its very heart atheist! One cannot be a Christian Communist any more than one can be a Christian mobster or Christian gangster! What can we do?
Indeed, William Bradford, one of the leaders declared that the Pilgrims had come to the New World "... For the propagating and advancing the Gospel of the Kingdom of Christ in those remote parts of the world." (Boston: Little, Brown, and Company,1856, p24). When Solomon died, Jeroboam became king over the Northern tribes of Israel and went after other gods and caused all Israel to sin against God. All of the rest of the kings in Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. When Josiah became king in Judah, Hilkiah, the high priest, found the Book of the Law of God and read it to Josiah and Josiah tore his clothes and began to restore Judah to true worship and removed the idolatrous priests who had burned incense to Baal and all the hosts of heaven. Many other things did Josiah do to restore true worship in Judah, but when he died, Jehoahaz became king and did evil and Jehoiakim also did evil when he became king and eventually Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC.
