Rich Man and Lazarus 06-28-16

One of the enduring truths of this text is the singular sufficiency of Scripture: "If they will not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe even if someone rises from the dead." It is the Word of God alone that can save people, keep people, and produce in people spiritual maturity. We will look at the power of God's word today and consider an interesting little insight into this from a statement Jesus made in His High Priestly prayer of John 17.
