Good evening everyone and welcome to the Worldview Report. I’m Brannon Howse.
A federal judge on Monday struck down the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's face-mask mandate for airplanes and other modes of public transit.
Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, a Trump-appointed judge, wrote in her decision that the CDC exceeded its statutory authority with the order.
“Our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully even in pursuit of desirable ends,” she wrote, acknowledging that the CDC imposed the mandate ostensibly to prevent the spread of Covid.
It remains unclear how quickly the ruling would be implemented by airline companies or whether the Biden Justice Department would appeal the ruling.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the decision was "disappointing" and that CDC and the Department of Homeland Security was reviewing the ruling.
The ruling came after 21 states sued the federal government.
Journalist J.D. Rucker observed that “the face mask mandates NEVER made sense. Now, it looks like they're coming down for now. We'll see if any airlines try to keep pushing them. It would be a huge mistake if any did.
“We're still waiting to hear from airlines who, with no cover from the CDC, must now decide whether to change their own policies. It's hard to imagine any of them causing the kerfuffle of continuing with the mandates if they're not forced to, but it's 2022 so you never know.”
Speaking of the mask mandates, a group of business owners and residents in Philadelphia are fighting back against that city’s recently revived indoor mask mandate.
OAN reports that the group filed a lawsuit over the Easter weekend alleging the city does not have the authority to impose another mask mandate, which went into effect Monday.
The suit claims the city is not following CDC standards and imposed the mandate on an arbitrary basis.
Thomas W. King III, attorney for the plaintiffs, stated:
“People have just generally had enough of this, sort of, government overreach and this inventing of rules and regulations to get into everybody’s lives on a continuing basis.”
Philadelphia is the first major US city to reinstate masks after dropping the mandate back in March.
CF Industries, the nation’s largest manufacturer of fertilizers, is warning its customers that fertilizer shipments will be delayed and may not reach farmers in time for the pivotal spring planting season because of a move by Union Pacific Railroad to limit the volume on private cars carried by its rail lines.
The railroad company ordered CF Industries and 29 other shippers to cut their volume by 20 percent. CF Industries is complying but said it would ask the federal government to intervene and end the railroad restrictions.
The railroad-mandated shipping reductions not only mean shipping delays but CF Industries said it would be unable to accept new orders involving Union Pacific for the foreseeable future.
The announcement was made April 14 on CF’s website. This disruption in the delivery of fertilizers comes at a time of steadily escalating food prices at grocery stores nationwide due to supply-chain disruptions, war between two big grain producers, Russia and Ukraine, as well as other issues such as China hording global grain supplies and weather-related crop failures. It all adds up to a perfect storm pointing to global famine on the horizon.
Unless American farmers produce a bumper crop this fall, the rampant food price inflation will continue to intensify, driving prices up even faster and leading to more shortages on the store shelves heading into late 2022 and 2023.
CF Industries ships to customers via Union Pacific rail lines primarily from its Donaldsonville Complex in Louisiana and its Port Neal Complex in Iowa. The rail lines serve key agricultural states in America’s heartland, including Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas, as well as California.
Products that will be affected include nitrogen fertilizers such as urea and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) as well as diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), an emissions-control product required for diesel trucks.
CF Industries is the largest producer of urea, UAN and DEF in North America, and its Donaldsonville Complex is the largest single production facility for the products in North America.
Tony Will, president and chief executive of CF Industries, summed up the direness of the situation in a press release that states:
“The timing of this action by Union Pacific could not come at a worse time for farmers. Not only will fertilizer be delayed by these shipping restrictions, but additional fertilizer needed to complete spring applications may be unable to reach farmers at all. By placing this arbitrary restriction on just a handful of shippers, Union Pacific is jeopardizing farmers’ harvests and increasing the cost of food for consumers.
Elon Musk has been made a hero in the eyes of many conservatives for his supposed stand against censorship on Twitter.
Musk has been in a bit of a bidding war over Twitter in his attempt to buy a controlling stake in the social media giant, which in turn caused the mega investment firm Vanguard to put in a competing bid.
Besides being the owner of Tesla, a brilliant engineer and one of the richest men in the world, who is Elon Musk?
Patrick Wood has a new article up at Technocracy.News titled “Will the Real Elon Musk Please Stand Up,” which attempts to shed light on the man behind the money, peeling back the curtain on his relationship with a controversial woman.
Wood writes that Musk is a technocrat and a transhumanist, having addressed the 2017 World Government Summit in Dubai.
Musk is also a space pioneer who believes the future of mankind will only be preserved by colonizing space.
Wood writes that, “Musk puts his money where his mouth is, having built his own rocket ship company, SpaceX.”
At age 50, Musk has fathered 8 children. His first marriage to Justine Wilson produced five children but the first-born died. The next two (Griffin, Xavier) were twins and the next three (Kai, Saxon, Damian) were triplets.
Currently, Musk has had two additional children from a girlfriend who is a self-described pagan witch, transhumanist and technocrat. Born Claire Elise Boucher, she first changed her name to Grimes but now addresses herself simply as “C”. Her first male child with Musk was named X Æ A-Xii, or “X” for short. and she recently had a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, or simply “Y”, born to a surrogate mother in December 2021.
A techno-punk-pop-rave musician and singer, Grimes has over 2.1 million Instagram fans. One post stated, “I spend 2 to 4 hours in my deprivation tank; this allows me to ‘astro-glide’ to other dimensions—past, present, and future.”
In 2020, The Irish Times provided some interesting insight into the Musk/Grimes relationship:
A fan on her Reddit page describes the 32-year-old as a hybrid of a fairy, a witch and a cyborg – pretty much Musk’s dream girl – and she has talked about going through a Wiccan phase in seventh grade. “Yeah, she’s pretty special, that’s for sure,” Musk says, with his lilting South African accent. “She’s one of the most unusual people I’ve ever met.”
I wonder how it works with two such exotic birds. “We’ve had this debate of ‘Are you more crazy than me or am I more crazy than you?’ ” Musk says.
So, there you have it. That’s your free speech champion, America. The choice is yours.
You know it’s Ramadan when Muslims go off on knife-wielding murder rampages. It’s been going on all over the world over the past couple of weeks.
The RAIR Foundation reports that a knife-wielding man described as “mentally ill” stabbed to death a 56-year-old Coptic priest, Alexandria Arsanious Wadid, at the popular seaside promenade in the northern city of Alexandria, Egypt. On the evening of April 7, the 60-year-old man stabbed Walid several times in the neck, which led to his death. The country’s interior ministry says the accused has been arrested.
During the police interrogation, the accused admitted to killing Father Walid. However, he changed the details of the story during their questioning. The man, who police describe as well-spoken, had told authorities that he had a previous mental illness that caused him to lose control over his actions. As a result, the Public Prosecution ordered the detention of the accused at a mental hospital while they determined if he suffered from any “mental and neurological” diseases.
Authorities claim that the three working surveillance cameras in the area did not capture the stabbing. Police reported the recordings only showed passersby panicking, scrambling, and trying to escape.
The pictures show the accused on the ground after people caught him. The public detained the terrorist until the police arrived.
Tucker Carlson Originals is reporting that a gang member and convicted murderer is confident he will get out of prison soon thanks to a Soros-funded Democrat district attorney known for leniency.
Luis Angel Hernandez, a gang-affiliated man currently incarcerated for murder in LA, told an unidentified caller that DA George Gascon's new policies are going to get him out of jail soon.
Listen to this incredible audio.
Hernandez is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole but you can hear the optimism in his voice there, stating “We got a new DA in LA. My lawyer already told me you’re coming home.”
"I got court on the 14th, fool, right here in Compton," Hernandez continues.
Hernandez faced enhancements for being a gang member, using a firearm in the commission of a crime, and for the "special circumstance" of committing murder during an armed robbery.
But when Gascon became DA, he made it a policy to drop all enhancements.
As Carlson reported, Hernandez initially faced life without the possibility of parole, which is also barred by Gascón's new directives.
Republican chief legal officers in 16 states are demanding President Joe Biden reconsider his canceling of the Keystone XL Pipeline and are criticizing the “hypocrisy” of the U.S. now potentially importing Canadian oil.
On his first day in office, Biden revoked the federal permit for a $9 billion pipeline designed to transport hundreds of thousands of oil barrels from Alberta, Canada, to the United States.
Now, as the Daily Wire reports, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen is leading the charge to restart the pipeline.
The attorneys general from 16 states write in a letter to Biden and obtained by the Daily Wire:
“We warned you then if your decision was not reversed, Americans would ‘suffer serious detrimental consequences,’ consumers would pay higher prices, and our allies would become further dependent on Russian and Middle Eastern oil. We hate to say we told you so.”
Biden’s cancellation of the 1,200-mile pipeline killed thousands of jobs, and Republicans wrote to the administration in February demanding to know how many. Knudsen and 20 other Republican attorneys general filed a lawsuit last year against Biden alleging he exceeded his authority by nixing the pipeline, The Daily Wire reported.
The letter comes amid record-high gas prices and 40-year high inflation that has put a strain on American families. The Producer Price Index, an inflation measurement for wholesale producers, spiked 11.2% annually from March 2021 to March 2022.
According to a medical study conducted by three public health researchers in Colorado, Virginia, and D.C., life expectancy in the U.S. has continued its startling decline since the onset of COVID-19.
The study, reported on by Gwendolyn Sims for PJ Media, “estimated changes in life expectancy during 2019-2021 in the U.S. population” within three racial groups and in 19 nations with similar populations.
“While it’s startling that U.S. life expectancy has continued its decrease, the biggest surprise in the study was which group declined the most: ‘the non-Hispanic white population’ — and, more specifically, white men.”
She then offers this analysis:
“Isn’t it interesting that, for all the left’s incessant bleating about so-called healthcare ‘inequity’ and vaccine ‘inequity,’ it turns out it’s actually the life of the left’s favorite punching bag — the evil white male — who has been the most negatively impacted by the effects of their pandemic hysteria? When will the left rage-tweet about this factual inequity? And when will the left celebrate the gains of the Hispanic and black populations?”
The study also showed that the U.S. as a whole managed the COVID-19 pandemic worse than did 19 of its peer countries worldwide, leading Sims to ask “When will the blue state governors realize they hurt their citizens more than helping them with their draconian lockdowns and mandates?”
I think we all know the answers to those questions.
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol stopped nearly two dozen migrants listed on the government’s terrorist watchlist while illegally crossing the southern border in 2021.
The Homeland Security database contains the names of people who are known or “reasonably suspected” of being involved with terrorism, and 23 of them were caught trying to cross into the U.S. last year.
Fox News obtained the information through a records request with Customs and Border Protection.
Fox reports that 4 were captured in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, 4 in Del Rio Sector, 3 in El Paso Sector, 2 in Tucson Sector, 2 in the Yuma Sector, 4 in El Centro Sector and 4 in the San Diego Sector.
Republican Congressmen James Comer and John Katko, who serve as ranking members on the Oversight and Homeland Security committees respectively, wrote to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas last month seeking to make the apprehensions public. They wrote:
“Reporting indicates that multiple individuals with terrorist ties have been recently apprehended after illegally crossing the border, and that such encounters may be increasing.
“The American people deserve to know whether President Biden’s weak border policies are allowing terrorists to enter our homeland.”
Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott has also been warning that terrorists are crossing at a never-before-seen rate. He told Fox News last October:
“We have terrorist threats we can’t get into in this type of a forum but they are real.”
As we reported more than a week ago, immigration expert Todd Bensman told me in an exclusive interview that terrorists were coming in from multiple Middle Eastern countries.
Remember, the number 23 is just the number who were caught. This is likely a fraction of the number who are coming in undetected.
You may have heard that Dr. Oz is running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania as a Republican. One of the lesser-known Republicans in that race is calling him out as a closet liberal.
Her name is Kathy Barnette. Listen to this.
Barnette says Oz is not pro life and does not believe in the America-first philosophy. In fact, he’s a pro-China globalist and a friend of the world Economic Forum.

Good for her.
Meanwhile, there is talk within GOP circles that Texas Governor Greg Abbot may be considering a run for the White House. And that’s the topic of our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
Is Abbot’s new policy of bussing illegal immigrants from the border to DC part of a political stunt, designed more as a PR campaign for his bid to win the White House than it is a serious attempt to actually stop illegal aliens from crossing into Texas from Mexico?
The Daily Mail reports that Republican Party insiders allege Abbott's “audacious” response to the border crisis is a first step towards a presidential bid, and his ploy has been well received by an “already amped-up base.”
“Like so many Republicans, Governor Abbott is increasing his name ID and pushing on issues important to the base and thereby putting himself in a position to run,” GOP strategist Doug Heye told the newspaper.
But voters would be wise not to put too much stock into Abbot’s migrant bussing policy.
He is proving better at stagecraft than at making the hard decisions necessary to seal off the border.
If he really wanted to stop the influx of illegals, he would be bussing them back into Mexico, not up to D.C., where they will be warmly welcomed and then promptly sent on their way via another bus into red states and counties throughout the U.S.
Abbot’s theatrics accomplish absolutely nothing in the way of stanching the holes in the porous border. If Abbot wants to earn some serious street cred among the GOP base, he might want to consider rolling out the Texas National Guard to round up illegals and dump them back on the other side of the border.
Now that would earn him some serious points from serious Republican voters.
