How do we know that the oldest manuscripts are so old? How can we prove that later manuscripts were written at a later date? The answer, we are told, is "paleographic evidence." Yet few Christians realize that paleography is not an exact science, and in the opinion of some experts, it's conclusions should be questioned with greater scrutiny.
