Spiritual Warfare part 3 - Demolishing Strongholds There is much talk of demolishing strongholds among contemporary spiritual warfare "experts" today. They hold that in order to effectively engage in spiritual warfare, strongholds must be demolished per the teaching of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Guess what? They are right! Demolishing strongholds is absolutely essential in spiritual warfare. The question, though, is this: what exactly are these strongholds? Are they what the experts say they are? And exactly what is it that we use to demolish them? Jim Osman, author of Truth of Territory, exegetes this text.

Ten Things YOU Need to Know Today! I Timothy 6.13-16

Latte, latte, my kingdom for a latte! You guessed it! The boralogue this week features King Richard III and Starbucks, though admittedly not in the same sentence. After 529 years, the remains of King Richard III were transported to their final resting place. John recaps Richard's ruthless rise to the throne and shows how politicians haven't changed much. Also, it seems the Starbucks plan to discuss race with its customers ended as quickly as it began. John shares a conversation he had with a barista this week that contained two things the barista wasn't trained for - confronting logic and critical thinking. First up this week, Andre Schutten (, General Counsel and Ontario Director for the Association for Reformed Political Action, analyzes the religious freedom case of Loyola High School in Montreal, which the Canadian Supreme Court upheld this week providing Christian schools with the right to teach ethics the way they see fit. What happens when you wake up and suddenly realize that your church has been hijacked by a surreptitious new message? Chelsen Vicari (, Evangelical Program Director at the Institute on Religion and Democracy, discusses her new book Distortion: How the New Christian Left is Twisting the Gospel, revealing how progressivism is slowly changing the evangelical church. Finally, Vern Westgate, retired Air Force vet and NASA engineer, joins us in the studio to examine the latest National Geographic cover story "The War on Science," that was featured on the March 2015 magazine cover. Vern tackles the scientific fallacies and presuppositions behind man-made global warming and the big bang theory and questions the new scientific method.

Can Science Help Preaching? Rob Moll’s article is discussed and critiqued. Hint: the Apostle Paul would not agree.

In today’s program, we wrap up our series of classics from the Search the Scriptures Daily archives with the late Dave Hunt and TBC executive director Tom McMahon, originally broadcast in 2005 and part of a collection of programs based on Dave’s book Beyond Seduction .

Jesus Quest: Program #7:David is leading us through a series on Jesus Quest. This is a look at how liberals, posing as evangelicals, are on a quest to discover the real Jesus. Sadly, their Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible.

Jim Schneider sat in the host's chair as he brought listeners up-to-date on the latest news stories from various sources. Stories included: --Governor Mike Pence sets off a firestorm of controversy for signing the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in Indiana. --Senator Harry Reid will be retiring at the end of his term. --The Freedom From Religion Foundation is harassing 6 teams in the NCAA Tournament because they have team chaplains. --Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl charged Wednesday of this week with desertion. --A former infantry officer who served with Bergdahl in Afghanistan wrote in The Daily Beast that Bergdahl was a deserter and soldiers from his own unit died trying to track him down. --Germanwings co-pilot allegedly wanted to destroy the passenger jet that slammed into the French Alps. --Colorado woman accused of cutting baby from body of another woman might not face homicide charges in the child's death because of the way criminal law has become entangled in the politics of abortion. --Group of Muslim Imams trying to bring Sharia 'light' to Texas run into stiff resistance from the mayor of Irving.

God wants us to see our money as a trust fund to manage, not a possession to squander. After all, it’s His money. We’re just stewards of it. We need to be like the Macedonian believers who were eager to give.

Christians around the world will remember the events of Palm Sunday in church this weekend. Do you think you know all about Jesus’ ride into Jerusalem nearly 2,000 years ago? In this edition of “Encounter God’s Truth,” our Bible teacher, Dr. John Whitcomb, is going to compare Scripture with Scripture to show us the true significance of aspects of this event that we often skip over. Since God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end, we must be mindful of even the smallest details when we study such an important topic. After the teaching segment of today’s holiday program, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb to explain what would have happened if the Jewish people had accepted Jesus’ offer to bring His Kingdom to Israel on that first Palm Sunday. We trust that this program will help you prepare for a very meaningful Easter season, and that you will find ways to share it with friends and loved ones.

THE FEAR OF THE LORD Chris discusses what the Scripture says about the fear of the Lord, and the many promises toward those who walk in the fear of God. Also, what does the Scripture tell us about the fear of man? The Scriptures give us many admonitions about how to overcome the fears of this present world, and grow in our learning to trust in Christ.

On today's episode, JD discusses a few different news stories, and then takes some sincere questions and follows up with some quotations from CH Spurgeon.

Thankfulness Or Jesus–Part 4 Ten lepers get healed. Once comes back to say, “thanks.” What is Luke 17 about? If you said, “thankfulness,” you would be wrong. Tune in to find out the real answer.

Ken Timmerman, out of Washington, covers geo-political events in our world for Jimmy DeYoung on PTIB. Today Ken is in France and has his report for us. Jimmy and Ken will talk about his reflections of the recent Israeli elections; the massive military exercises going on all across Russia; IS quoting the Quran in justification for their vow to destroy the White House and demolish the Jewish State of Israel; the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia calling for the destruction of all churches in the Middle East and the US omits both Iran and Hizbullah from the US terrorist list.

Christians often get tripped up by issues of finance. Whose money is it really? Mine, or someone else’s? Jesus had much to say about money, and if we’re serious about crowning Him as our Lord, we need to listen to what He has to say.
