Two of the nation’s largest religious groups are openly promoting socialism and communism. The first is the Southern Baptist Convention which is the largest protestant denomination in America. The second is the Catholic church that has a long history of promoting socialism. However, under the leadership of the last two Pope’s much of the leadership of the Catholic church is openly embracing communism and globalism. In this first of a two part series Brannon reads from the Jesuit Review and their July 2019 article entitled “The Catholic Case for Communism.” This article is seeking to repackage communism and portray those embracing it as doing so for the common good and the creation of a classless society. Brannon explains why a classless society will never happen and has never happen in a communist country. Topic: We take your calls.

Current Events from a Biblical and Constitutional Perspective. We are joined by Scott Uehlinger (Retired CIA Station Chief, National Security Expert, Newsmax Contributor). Topics discussed include: Is Climate Change America’s Greatest Threat? What’s happening in Iran? Pres. Trump speaks at Religious Freedom Forum. Changing the “terms” of Climate Change.

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung will invite Winkie Medad to the Broadcast Table to discuss the recent Israeli elections, which is at a stalemate, with neither of the two leading parties really in good shape to put together a coalition government. The "Joint List", is a bloc of Arab political parties, which could be the "kingmaker" in the formation of the next Israeli government. The other option would be for Israel to go to another election campaign. This scenario could be a bad move for the Israeli State , and for their future, which is all laid out in the prophetic passages of God's Word, the Bible.

Life is a race. Helping a brother or sister stay on track is more important than flaunting your Christian liberty. Don’t be a stumbling block to the household of God.

The average home has 6-8 Bibles.  Perhaps you’ve even wondered what you can do with old, used Bibles or Christian resources such as books or left over Sunday school materials or magazines from reliable Christian ministries.

The answer to that conundrum was provided by Jim’s guest, Jason Woolford.  Jason is the executive director of Mission Cry/Christian Resources International.

Jason began by giving listeners a brief history of Mission Cry.  It began 60 years ago with a junk dealer who collected paper. One day, when going through papers that he would recycle for money, he found a Bible.  As a Christian, he didn’t want to throw a Bible out so he held on to it. Eventually he found more and before long, he had a box of Bibles.

Then he had the idea to send 2 boxes overseas, one to Africa and one to India because the average person in those parts of the world can’t afford a Bible.  From that moment over the past 60 years, this ministry has been able to send nearly 350 million dollars worth of used Bibles and Christian books to over 173 nations around the world.

Jason encouraged listeners to go through their bookshelves and take those extra 6-8 Bibles and any other Christian books that they find, box them up, and send them to Mission Cry via Media Mail.  Once they arrive at Mission Cry, the books go through a 7-sort process, get packaged/boxed, and then placed on big pallets. Once the pallet total is 10, they get placed on a sea container where the materials are sent to distribution points and to ministries that can get them released so that the Word of God gets distributed for free.

To find out how you can make good use of your used Bibles or perhaps even start a used Bible drive in your church, contact Mission Cry at the information listed below.

Never despise the day of small things because small things are telling us where we are headed.  In this week's boralogue, John looks at several stories including intersectionality problems in the Netherlands, Justin Trudeau's brown face controversy, and believe it or not, a seminary where prayers are offered to plants.  Everyone makes moral pronouncements, but they come from a pitching deck of relativistic ideas and will not work.  Reform, therefore, is needed.

A plan has been afoot for more than 70 years to indoctrinate children in schools in order to push the global government narrative.  Alex Newman (www.thenewamerican.com), Foreign Correspondent for The New American, shows us that parents can't compete with the intense indoctrination and gives some alternatives to public education.

John takes a moment to focus on our economy, playing a segment from the McAlvany Weekly Commentary.  David McAlvany and Kevin Orrick of International Collectors Associates (www.mcalvanyica.com) discuss negative interest rates and their effect on central banks and the economy.

With social media companies virtually controlling our entire online experience, are users forced to agree with them just to have a voice?  Data Network Architect Russ White (www.mindmatters.ai) is back with us to examine the physical infrastructure of the internet and how social media companies have monopolized the entire internet, even news sources.

John’s quote of the week:

"The elites were talking about world government long before people began yelling about conspiracy theories.  The problem was changing the minds of the people.  How would you do that?  You would use the public education system."

Dave, I want to continue the discussion we had last week by quoting some verses from the prophet Zechariah. But before I do, just before our last segment ended last week, you were mentioning that Jews who accept Jesus as their Messiah, prior to His second coming, become part of the Bride of Christ. Now, are you saying that Jews then have to become Christians? You know I know the answer to that, but I say that for the sake of some people out there, because some Jews who may be listening, say, that might be offensive to them.

Dave: Well, the first Christians were all Jews, of course, but they didn’t call themselves Christians, and Jesus did not call them Christians. If we go to the Book of Acts, we find Acts 11, the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. That actually is where they had the first Gentile church, and so I guess it was the Gentile believers who were called Christians.

Money Mission Friday: When Interest Rates Go Negative. We are joined by William Parker (Principal of BRI Investing, CEO of Grandview Asset Management). Topics discussed include: This Week’s Federal Reserve Scare. The Truth about Negative Interest Rates. What the Bible says about Interest Rates.

On a weekly basis Jimmy DeYoung and Dave James have a conversation here on PTIB to discuss an issue that confronts the Church, an issue that needs to be dealt with from a Biblical perspective. Jimmy and Dave will look at the new book written by this best selling author, Jonathan Cahn; first, looking back at his previous books; the fact that they have been "Christian novels"; the reality that you don't get Biblical doctrine from novels; how he has difficulty, in his books, with facts from the Bible and history; and that if he is misleading in his books, that leads to "false teaching", which Jesus warned would be prevalent in the last days.

This week on “Encounter God’s Truth,” we begin the final message from Volume One of our new series called, “Acts: Witness of the Early Church.” We will see that the early church was dynamic and powerful—yet it still faced challenges and problems, and it encountered an especially severe test in the realm of personal possessions. Dr. John Whitcomb opens up a very intriguing passage in Acts 4 and 5, which describes how the members of the first church in Jerusalem viewed their belongings. You may remember how that led up to an incident involving a husband and wife named Ananias and Sapphira. “Hypocrisy in the Church” is so dangerous and damaging, and yet God can use even this, perhaps in unknown ways, for our good and His glory. He also uses it to teach us how His Word is true from the beginning to the end. Along with host Wayne Shepherd, Whitcomb Ministries offers its thanks to Middletown Bible Church in Middletown, Connecticut, for permission to broadcast this audio.

Many who run life’s race are tripped up by the conduct of believers around them, conduct they feel is inappropriate. How should we judge the behavior of others? Or, is it our business to judge at all?

Below is a sample of the stories Jim rolled out for this week’s edition of the ‘Round-Up.’

–Union Theological Seminary in New York City encouraged students to confess their sins to plants.

–The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty agreed to a settlement with the Housing Authority of the City of Menomonie to protect the Second Amendment rights of Housing Authority residents.

Today Dr. Peter Vincent Pry discusses the climate change hoax that many people are falling for. Topic: If today’s young people are so concerned about the climate and the environment then they should consider what a nuclear strike on America would do to the environment.

Pompeo to Iran: An Act of War. We are joined by EJ Kimball (Senior Middle East Fellow, Center for a Secure Free Society; Israel Victory Project). Topics discussed include: The Iranian Master Plan. How Bad Was It? The Trump Response. President Rivlin: No 3rd Election.

Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has two of his Broadcast Partners to join him at the Broadcast Table to discuss current events, with a special focus on different issues. Dr Don DeYoung will discuss with Jimmy the "dinosaur-killing astroid" that hit the Earth, according to scientist, 66 million years ago, and caused the disappearance of dinosaurs. Don has the truth on how the dinosaurs disappeared. But first, Jimmy has John Rood join him to receive from John his European Union Up-date, which includes a story that the EU is not legal at this time.
