Misguided Moralism - part 3: Well, the Republican nominee has now been decided. Barring some unforeseen event, it looks like Donald Trump is going to be the one to face off against either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders (likely the former) in the general election in November. Are you excited? Are you angry? Are you relieved? Are you worried? Here's the real question: Are you resting in the sovereignty of God in all of these things? Here's another question: Do you understand that no matter who is the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue that that person is not going to save or destroy this nation? All of these things are playing out according to God's sovereign decree. We should not have strained relations with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ if they support someone different than do we. We should not trust in chariots and horses but in the name of our great and sovereign God.
