John Whitcomb: July 24, 2017

The Lord Jesus spoke of a coming day that would be characterized by, “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (Luke 21:26, 27, KJV).

This verse gives us a picture of the dread of impending judgment, but also shows the hope of deliverance through the coming of Christ.

So where do you turn for consolation during the turbulent times in which we live today?
Host Wayne Shepherd leads you into this edition of "Encounter God’s Truth" with Old Testament teacher Dr. John Whitcomb.

He will give us hope, and help us learn more about these future events as part of our ongoing series, “Zechariah: The LORD Remembers.” It teaches us once again that God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end!
