William Federer is a historian, speaker, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc, a publishing company dedicated to researching America’s noble heritage.  He’s authored numerous books including, ‘America’s God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations,’ ‘The Original 13: History of Religion in America’s First Thirteen States,’ ‘Who is the King in America?’ and ‘What Every American Needs to Know about the Qur’an: A History of Islam and the United States.’  He’s the speaker on ‘The American Minute’ daily broadcast.

Adolph Hitler was the head of the National Socialist Workers Party in Germany and eventually became the chancellor in the 1930’s.  Along with Italy’s Mussolini who had invaded Ethiopia, to Emperor Hirohito in Japan who had invaded China, things were heating up worldwide, indicating that WWI might not be the war to end all wars as many had hoped.

Eventually these 3 nations teamed up to bring about WWII, as Hitler went from economic hero to aggressive dictator.  While U.S. forces eventually broke the back of the Japanese offensive at Midway, Allied forces still needed to deal with Germany.  One of the key points of that theater of the war was D-Day, June 6, 1944. This was the largest seaborne invasion in world history involving 13,000 aircraft, 5,000 ships and 195,000 Navy personnel and 160,000 soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy located in Nazi occupied France.

In addition to this historical overview, William also looked at the D-Day prayer of Democrat Franklin Roosevelt.  In fact, President Trump just recently read portions from it during his D-Day address. This will be put on the WWII memorial in Washington, D.C., if enough people pay for it as it cannot be paid for by federal funds.  Funding has to come from volunteer donations.
