Topic: Brannon begins the program reading from the Al Mohler article in which Mohler says that we must put Communist and terrorist Nelson Mandela on the side of the heroes. Brannon reads this to contrast this with how Mohler will praise a Communist and terrorist like Mandela but then ridicule Christians that voted their conscience and voted for Trump despite Mohlers ridiculing them. Topic: Brannon switches topics to discuss the real meaning of the parable of the Good Samaritan and the purpose is not to teach social justice. Listen as Brannon explains what Jesus was really teaching about. Topic: Did the Apostle John and Apostle Peter really not have any silver or gold for the lame man they encountered in front of the temple as recorded in Acts 3? Or perhaps they just did not any silver and gold for the lame man that they eventually healed? The answer is important as it goes to the heart of what is the calling of the Church when it comes to the poor and panhandlers. Maybe a look back in Acts 2 will answer the question at hand. Brannon then reads an e-mail from a bus driver in Texas that wrote to him to share how he has regular riders that are panhandlers that make $500 to $600 a day, tax free. How should Christians look at this supposed moral dilemma? Topic: We take your calls.
