Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Karen Townsend at HotAir.com reports that a major alert has gone out to Border Patrol agents working along the U.S.-Mexico border. They are being warned to use extreme caution as they go about their duties.

Along the Arizona/Mexico border, a gunfight broke out. It is believed to have been a battle between cartels for control of an open spot in the border wall. The Mexican military found 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the border, on the Mexican side of the border. A federal law-enforcement source shared an internal officer safety alert dated December 13 with FOX Business Network. It warns CBP agents to be vigilant.

The IEDs were found by Mexican authorities after Tucson border patrol observed gunshots at the U.S.-Mexico border and a Tucson supervisory border patrol agent arrested an armed person on the U.S. side who had a loaded AK-47 rifle, two loaded AK magazines, loose rounds, and a handgun.

CBP is warning its agents to “exercise extreme caution and should report any possible armed subjects approaching the border with possible explosive devices,” according to the memo.

A gap in the border fence at a ranch is typically used to smuggle drugs through. The gap is a magnet now for cartels who smuggle humans. The gangs are fighting for control.

There is real concern over what is happening at the border when it comes to potential terrorism. We know more names than ever before are turning up on the terror watch list at the border. Those are just the ones apprehended. What about the million got-aways? They aren’t vetted at all. They disappear into the interior of our country to roam as they please. It defies logic to think that our luck can last much longer before something tragic happens.

A jury determined that former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani owes nearly $150 million in damages to two Georgia election workers for making alleged defamatory statements about them after the 2020 election, according to NBC.

U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell found Giuliani defamed Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss in August. After a four-day trial and over 9 hours of deliberation, a Washington, D.C., jury reached a verdict awarding the two women $148 million in damages, according to NBC News.

The amount awards $16,171,000 for defamation and $20 million for emotional distress to Freeman, along with $16,998,000 for defamation and $20 million for emotional distress to Moss. Additionally, it awards $75 million to both plaintiffs for punitive damages, according to CNN.

The women testified about the threats they received following Giuliani’s claims, according to CNN.

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley stated on X that this type of over-blown verdict is likely to be substantially reduced on appeal.

In another post to X, Turley said the massive award included punitive damages, “which seemed warranted but it would still raise the question of the size of the award. What is interesting is the high compensatory damages of $20 million for Freeman and Moss. That is a very high foundation...”

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) just passed with plenty of sinister funding measures snuck into its more than 4,000 pages, most of which none of the members ever read. One of these toxic nuggets was a provision that would make it almost impossible for the President to withdraw the United States from NATO without specific congressional approval. This was a bipartisan move that was obviously designed to prevent Donald Trump from pulling the country out of the organization as he has previously threatened to do.

The Hill reports:

“Congress has approved legislation that would prevent any president from withdrawing the United States from NATO without approval from the Senate or an Act of Congress. The measure, spearheaded by Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA) and Marco Rubio (R-FL), was included in the annual National Defense Authorization Act, which passed out of the House on Thursday and is expected to be signed by President Biden.”

In Bournemouth, England, a young soccer player suddenly collapsed without warning during a professional soccer match on Saturday, causing the game to be suspended.

As Pro Soccer Wire reported, the English Premier League teams Bournemouth and Luton Town were tied 1-1 going into the 59th minute when Luton’s 29-year-old captain, Tom Lockyer, collapsed near midfield without any contact.

Referee Simon Hooper halted play upon seeing Lockyer on the ground. Shocked players rushed toward Lockyer, and both teams’ medical staff ran onto the pitch seconds later.

Pro Soccer Wire revealed the match was abandoned 25 minutes later, and both teams eventually made their way to their respective locker rooms. The crowd reportedly chanted Lockyer’s name while he was down.

Sky News reports Lockyer was stretchered off the field and taken to a local hospital.

Luton Town posted a statement on X saying that Lockyer is responsive but said they don’t know what caused him to collapse. They also thanked Bournemouth and the medical staff on both sides for their prompt response.

The team also apologized to fans for not being able to continue the match and thanked the crowd for their support of Lockyer and singing his name.

The Gateway Pundit reports that in the aftermath of the October 7th Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, the disturbing level of antisemitism among young Americans has been on full display.

Now, a Harvard-Harris poll reveals that 51% of young Americans between 18 and 24 years old believe Israel should “be ended and given to Hamas.”

This is what happens when you spend four years being indoctrinated by radical leftists on college campuses and get your political advice from TikTok.

The poll further reveals that only 32% believe in a two-state solution.

Just 17% said other Arab states should be asked to absorb Palestinian populations.

60% of the 18-24 group say Hamas’s October 7 terrorist attack could be “justified by the grievance of Palestinians.”

Despite Hamas attacking innocent civilians and using brutal rape as a weapon of war, 60% agree with the statement that “Israel is committing genocide against those in Gaza” rather than just defending itself.

67% said they believed Jews “should be treated as oppressors.”

WZTV in Nashville, Tennessee, reports that a mother, father and son were arrested after officers responded to a welfare check on December 11 to find a juvenile who appeared to be cut with a knife and with lumps on his face.

According to an arrest warrant, the victim told police his family attacked him for recently becoming a Christian. The family are Muslims, the warrant adds.

The victim told officers his mother, brother and father repeatedly punched him and spat in his face. Arrest records show his mother then took a knife and scratched the back of his right hand with it.

His family demanded he recant his Christian belief and say he was a Muslim during the attacks, the arrest record adds. The victim said the abuse continued until law enforcement arrived at the home.

When officers saw the victim, he was “trembling and wide eyed” with “disheveled” hair. The boy was transported to a local hospital for treatment, arrest records state.

The Muslim family members involved in the violence – a mother, father and older son – were taken into custody without further incident. Both the father and brother face charges of domestic assault and bodily harm, while the mother has been charged with aggravated assault using a deadly weapon.

That poor teenage kid needs to get out of that house, because next time, that family will likely kill him.

Nashville is home to America’s largest Kurdish Muslim community with more than 25,000 Kurds living in the area. Most have come as refugees from the two U.S. wars fought in Iraq.

The Jerusalem Post reports that North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile on Sunday, said Japan's Coast Guard and the South Korean military, as Pyongyang condemned US-led military shows of force as tantamount to "a preview of a nuclear war."

The missile was launched towards the sea off North Korea's east coast, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.

About 20 minutes after initially reporting the launch, the Japanese coast guard said the missile had already fallen.

It appeared to have fallen outside Japan's exclusive economic zone, broadcaster NTV reported.

No further details were immediately available.

The launch came after warnings from officials in Seoul and Tokyo that nuclear-armed North Korea was preparing to test-fire a missile, including one of its longest-range intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) this month.

Are the globalist elites preparing bugout locations in perceived safe havens around the world?

It sure seems that way. From Oprah’s lavish getaway on Fisher Island off the coast of Florida to a string of other billionaire bunkers in the Czech Republic, it appears the elites are getting ready to ride out a catastrophe of some kind.

The latest news in this regard is about Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg is building a sprawling $100 million Hawaii compound — complete with an underground bunker and its own food and energy sources — in a secret project suggesting the social media mogul is trying to conceal his doomsday preparations.

The Facebook founder’s complex called Koolau Ranch is already partially constructed and is shaping up to be one of the most expensive personal construction projects in modern history, according to a Wired investigation of property records and interviews with contractors.

The compound on Kauai Island will consist of more than a dozen buildings with two central mansions that will be connected by a tunnel that leads to a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter with an escape hatch accessible via a ladder, Wired reported, citing building plans.

The property will house at least 30 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms and will also feature a few guest houses and a group of 11 “disk-shaped” treehouses joined together by rope bridges, according to the plans reviewed by the outlet.

The subterranean bunker will hold a living space and mechanical room and feature an apparent “blast-resistant” concrete and steel door, Wired reported.

Other exits and entrances throughout the compound’s buildings will have doors with keypad locks and soundproofing, while the library will feature a secret or “blind” door, according to the construction documents. Cameras are already “everywhere,” according to one worker and the plans show that one smaller ranch building has more than 20 cameras alone, the tech publication reported.

Koolau Ranch has another feature showing the Meta CEO may be planning for some sort of apocalypse.

According to Wired’s sources and construction plans, the builders hope to make it completely self-sufficient. A water tank — 55 feet in diameter and 18 feet tall — along with a pump system will be housed on the property, where existing ranching and agriculture on the 1,400 acres already provide food sources.

Zuckerberg has built a 6-foot wall around the compound and has all his contracted workers, no matter their level or involvement, sign NDAs regarding their work on the property, according to Wired.

A new media outlet is set to launch next year but with a twist: the news will be presented completely by avatars powered by artificial intelligence.

Based out of Los Angeles, the startup called Channel 1 is set to launch in February 2024, on a number of streaming platforms such as Crackle, Tubi, and Pluto.

The company published a 22-minute promo video on their website explaining how the website will work.

One of the AI avatars stated:

“Today you’ll witness AI-generated stories and headlines, captivating visuals, and data-driven insights. From global news, to finance, to entertainment, we’ll show you how technology enables us to bring you a global perspective, 24/7, right from the heart of our AI newsroom, all presented by our team of AI-generated reporters.”

Another AI bot in the broadcast explained:

“Maybe you hear the words ‘artificial intelligence,’ and you are immediately skeptical or concerned about technology gone crazy. But everything you’ll see on Channel 1 relies on trusted sources and factchecking, and uses AI to give you news the way you want it; personalized, localized, and distilled.”

The scripts the AI avatars speak are also generated as well, so no one is actually telling the AI what to say, the company claims.

The largest solar flare in years occurred on December 14th, temporarily knocking out radio communications on Earth.

According to a report by the Associate Press, a NASA telescope observed the sun spewing out the huge flare along with a massive radio burst, causing two hours of radio interference “in parts of the U.S. and other sunlit parts of the world.”

Scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) believe the flare was “likely one of the largest solar radio events ever recorded,” adding that: “These impacts were felt from one end of the Nation to the other.”

The NOAA said it was the biggest flare since 2017, with multiple pilots and other professionals using radios to communicate reporting disruptions.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

The Biden regime’s rogue ATF has come out with yet another proposed new rule that will criminalize the private sale of firearms.

This is not a law, mind you, but a rule. A bureaucratic rule can be created out of thin air by any federal agency without the consent of Congress, if Congress allows it, and there’s no sign that Congress has any sort of problem with the ATF creating new rules to harass gun owners.

Second Amendment advocates such as the NRA have sounded the alarm on a gun-control proposal from the federal agency that could unjustly criminalize Americans for selling a firearm.

In a statement, the largest U.S. guns-rights group alerted that a rule proposed earlier this year by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive (ATF) known as ATF2022R-17, which proposed amending and broadening the definition of when a person is deemed to have been “engaged in the business” of being a firearms dealer other than a gunsmith or pawn-broker.

It would expand the definition of a firearms dealer to anyone who “sells or offers for sale firearms, and also represents to potential buyers or otherwise demonstrates a willingness and ability to purchase and sell additional firearms,” according to the rule proposal. The definition would be broadened to also include people who sell guns in exchange for services, property, or anything other than cash.

The summary of this proposed rule, as published in the Federal Register, says it would create a “stand-alone definition of ‘terrorism,’” and would “clarify what it means for a person to be ‘engaged in the business’ of dealing in firearms, and to have the intent to ‘predominantly earn a profit’ from the sale or disposition of firearms.”

The public comment period on the rule ended last week.

An NRA official, Randy Kozuch, told Fox News that the rule would be “just another attempt to demolish our Second Amendment rights, with the potential to unjustly criminalize everyday Americans for engaging in lawful firearm transactions.”

Kozuch added:

“This rule blatantly disregards the recent NRA-backed Bruen ruling on the Second Amendment. It also creates serious confusion among lawful gun owners who buy and sell firearms legally for various purposes, from collecting to self-defense.”

The NRA, in an earlier statement, said the ATF doesn't have “the resources nor the intent of handling the massive increase” in Federal Firearms Licenses that would result if the rule were adopted.

Of course that would give Congress the incentive to fund the hiring of a vast new army of ATF agents, who would harass American gun owners at every turn.

The NRA statement added that:

“Instead, the proposal is a transparent attempt to strong-arm Internet service providers, gun shows, technology platforms, and other facilitators to abandon any involvement in private gun sales with vague threats of ‘administrative action’ for non-compliance. Meanwhile, the cartels, gang members, firearm smugglers, and violent sociopaths …will be entirely unaffected.”

The Second Amendment really is the final frontier of tyranny in America. In practical terms, every other right in the Bill of Rights has been abridged. The bad guys in government have found a work-around for destroying all of the other rights that were supposed to be guaranteed. Once they get the Second Amendment, it’s game over, and there will be no going back.

Well, that does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and for supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.
