Lesson  #11. "Believing" in Jesus is not enough. Today Brannon looks at John 3:1-21 and the encounter between Nicodemus and Jesus. There is a worldly or intellectual belief and then there is a spiritual belief that is granted by God. What kind of belief do you have? Why are intellectual arguments about moral issues with nonbelievers a waste of time and how do they misrepresent Christianity? Topic: As a Pharisee what did Nicodemus believe? How did the external moralizing of the Pharisees and their man-made rules, hypocrisy, spiritual blindness, rejection of Biblical doctrine and rejection of Jesus compare to that of the new religious right and much of the evangelicalism of today?
