John Loeffler: December 14, 2020

The U.S. is still working out what administration will occupy the White House in January, but countries in the Middle East aren’t waiting around.  Israel-based Josh Hasten, host of the Israel Uncensored radio show, joins us to answer the question: what should be done about Iran?  A Trump and a Biden administration have markedly different plans when it comes to Iran.  Gulf States in the Middle East are forming alliances with Israel to fight against Iran should help not materialize from Western countries.

With all this uncertainty swirling around, a feeling of angst has settled over a lot of people.  John, Carol, and Steve convene a Steel round table for a discussion on how to handle these stressful times.  We need to focus on what’s important and come together and help each other.  Also, prayer is a great way to manage anxiety because God’s plans are always best and He will provide a way for us to get through it.

John and Carol continue the studio round table, examining the new normal (or emerging paradigm shift) in the world of economics.  They look at the global economic picture, the actions of central banks around the world, and how the virus is affecting businesses both big and small.

Finally this week, we tackle the age old question: what is truth?  Dr. James Thrasher, Professor of Biblical Studies at Grove City College, relates his experiences with students and how they need a solid grounding in the absolute quality of truth.  Truth can’t be “your truth isn’t my truth” -  it has to be based on something.  In this clash of worldviews we’re having today, it’s important to ground yourself in absolute truth.
