Guest: Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. Topic: The Gospel Coalition publishes and article that affirms a book that can only be described as call for mainstreaming and accepting homosexuality within evangelicalism and within the New Testament church. Yet should we be surprised when we see social justice, ecumenical, and confused and troubled men such as Albert Mohler, Russell Moore, Tim Keller, and John Piper among the list of men working with the Gospel Coalition? What prophet implications are there to the mainstreaming of homosexuality within evangelicalism? Topic: Hamas is partnering with Iran and Turkey to stop Trumps announcement on Jerusalem. Jews are celebrating a victory during the eight day feast of Hanukkah, under tight security. The Christmas cities of Bethlehem and Nazareth will move ahead with Christmas celebrations. Mark 4 is a call to evangelism. In this day Christians must press in to the work of sharing the message of hope and salvation in Christ alone. Then we must put action to our words by living all that Jesus commands us. This episode of SER is my conversation with my good friend Steven Menking, host of The Amateur Society and On the Objective.

This week UTT goes deep into the history of NYPD's John Miller and uses his journey into misunderstanding Islam.  Years of being intentionally lied to by Islamic scholars had provided the intentional outcome by our enemies. From his time as a reporter to being an FBI Assistant Director and now as the Deputy Commissioner for the NYPD, John Miller still doesn't know the enemy.  UTT tells you why.

Join UTT as we take the fight to the enemy and put freedom back on the offensive where it belongs!

A review of the Transforming power of the Gospel and the Eternal changes that it brings to those who are recipients of God’s Grace.  The Scriptural basis for the Doctrine of the Believers Hope; Eternal Life through the redemptive work of Christ, is incorporated in this address.

"Jerusalem a Burdensome Stone for the Nations Part 4"

Zechariah 12:1-3 "The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

On December 6th, President Donald Trump made a historic and perhaps prophetic decision to declare that the United States would recognize Jerusalem as Israel's historic and eternal capital and move the US Embassy there. This sent the Muslim world, the Palestinians and most of the world's nations into an evil frenzy, showing their true colors. We are sure living in the last days.

What does the Bible say about Jerusalem? How does Jerusalem play into Bible prophecy and the return of the Lord Jesus Christ? What is the right Biblical position for Christians to take on the Jewish people claiming Jerusalem as their capital? Do Muslims have any rightful claim to Jerusalem?

Shahram will discuss these questions and much more. These will be important shows to share with all of those who desire to seek the truth of God's Word on the matter of Jerusalem.

(Program #81) Usama Dakdok reveals the dangers of interfaith dialogues by playing the audio of the interfaith dialogue between James White and Jihadi Yasir-Qadhi. Usama will start and stop the audio as he provides commentary and uses this as a opportunity to refute the misinformation with truth.

Dr. John Whitcomb amplifies the most appealing voice of Christmas in this week’s edition of “Encounter God’s Truth.”

That voice, of course, is the voice of the one true Messiah—the Anointed One, Jesus Christ! The truth it conveyed was first whispered by the prophet Isaiah, who spoke of the Messiah and His message. Dr. Whitcomb shows how this voice flows like a balm over all the troubled people who come to Him. Will you listen and respond this Christmas season? Following the message, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb why more of the Jewish people did not accept Jesus when they heard His appealing voice in first-century Israel. This is the third installment in our four-part “Voices of the Christmas Prophets” series, and we trust it will be of real help to many who are seeking the wisdom and peace of our Lord during this important time of the year. God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end—and it is our privilege to bring it to you every week through “Encounter God’s Truth.”

We are now a week removed from President Trump's official declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.  In this week's boralogue, John looks at the expected reactions to this declaration and details the rich history of Jerusalem.  Has anything changed as a result of President Trump's declaration?  Jerusalem is still the capital.  And everyone surrounding it is acting as they always have.

Artificial Intelligence may not be at science fiction level yet, but it is being used in some areas, including surveillance.  National education analyst and writer Dr. Carole Haynes (www.drcarolehhaynes.com) returns to discuss concerns with massive tracking systems and their algorithms as well as Congress's back door policies in surveillance legislation.

What rights will we have when AI begins making decisions for us?  Curtis Levey (www.committeeforjustice.org), President of the Committee for Justice, looks at the future of artificial intelligence and the battle between government and free markets over its control.

Why do many public schools have low graduation rates and student test scores?  Are they doing anything about it?  Larry Sand (www.ctenhome.org), President of the California Teachers Empowerment Network, details how education elites in California are lowering standards to boost statistics rather than look for solutions.  Will school choice help?

John rounds out the program this week showing how Francis Schaeffer's predictions from 1977 about the rise of totalitarianism are coming true today.

John’s quote of the week:

"The totalitarian instinct – seen clearly on college campuses and in much of the left-wing controlled media today – will try to shut down ideas that they don't like and impose social penalties or real penalties on those who don't keep up their 'citizen scores' (how the Chinese Communists would call it).  That's why we're in true danger if we allow these trends to continue and why the battle for freedom of speech is paramount."

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” The life He offers to those who believe is an eternal one. This Christmas, let’s be thankful for the life our Savior promises, a life that transcends and overcomes our eventual death on earth.

Today we’re following up on our discussion of UFOs, and for those who missed last week’s program, here are some of the points we tried to make: we established that all intelligent life forms must be the product of God’s creation, and that conclusion is based upon logic, probability, true science, and the Bible. All physical beings must be confined to the earth because all creation is under the curse of and effect of sin. And salvation is only found through the redemption of Jesus Christ, which took place only once and exclusively on this planet. In other words, the Bible opposes the speculation that there are physical beings visiting this planet from planets across our galaxy or from other galaxies. Given the extraordinary distances and time involved, such travel or communication by extraterrestrial beings is physically impossible. Nevertheless, we believe that some of the UFO phenomenon is genuine. That is, it’s not something that can simply be written off as a delusion. Although the phenomenon is real, to some extent, it’s not what it pretends to be. That is, UFOs give the impression of being physical vehicles of extraterrestrial space travelers, yet all the evidence points to their being nonphysical entities.

Now, Dave, based upon what we’ve said, there seems to be only three possibilities for explaining what’s behind the UFO phenomenon: God, angels, or humanity. So, which is it, and what makes you think so?

There are many thoughts among Christians as to the actual location of the Garden of Eden. in the Muslim and the Jewish worlds there is no question as to the original site of the Garden, it was, and is, the Temple Mount in the City of Jerusalem. This fact is more important now, since President Trump recognized the City of Jerusalem as the political capitol of the Jewish State of Israel. Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung will talk with Dave James about the actual location of Jerusalem and it's historic significance in our world today. Ezekiel, the ancient Jewish Prophet, says that Jerusalem is at the center of the earth, Ezekiel 5:5. That is even further evidence that it is also the true site of the Garden of Eden, the site of the first "kingdom" and the last one, where Jesus will rule and reign from forever.

Jerusalem a Burdensome Stone for the Nations Part 1-Part 3

At Christmas we’d rather not think about the end of life. But Jesus gives eternal life to those who believe in Him. This means that death is not the end. Instead, death will give way to victory as we enter into the real life we were meant to live.

Frank Gaffney is the founder, president and CEO of the Center for Security Policy, a not-for-profit, non-partisan educational corporation. He's a national security expert and served in the Reagan administration as the assistant secretary of defense for international security policy. He's the lead author of 'War Footing: Ten Steps America Must Take to Prevail in the War for the Free World', co-author of 'Sharia: The Threat to America' and other titles as well.

President Trump recently signed into law the 700 billion dollar 2018 National Defense Authorization Act. Through this the president appears to be promising a major military buildup. Does Frank believe this hits the mark or does this miss it?

Frank believes this legislation is a positive step in the right direction after decades of benign neglect by the two Bush administrations, and at worst, a wrecking operation against our military by the Obama administration.

On Israel, Frank sees the desire to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem as significant because it recognizes reality. That reality is that Israel has won repeatedly in a succession of wars. He believes that as we indulge in the fantasy and false narrative that the Palestinians are entitled to all of this land, they want to drive the Jews into the sea and they actually haven't been defeated, the more you'll find them behaving in the way they have all these years. That includes engaging in jihadist behavior, not just against Israel, but against Americans and others who are on our side.

Yesterday, Ambassador Nikki Haley indicated she has irrefutable evidence that Iran deliberately violated the so-called 'Iran Deal'. Frank has not seen the evidence Haley speaks of, but he thinks what she's pointing out is that Iran has been collaborating with North Korea to acquire nuclear weapons technology and capability and the missiles with which to deliver that. President Obama gave Iran 150 billion dollars, some of which Frank believes is migrating to North Korea, while he believes North Korea is possibly sharing nuclear missiles with Iran.

Does Frank see any subsiding of tensions between the U.S. and North Korea? Is the solution to take the diplomatic route or is it peace through strength? Frank communicated that we've sought a diplomatic solution for a long time. Diplomacy has been used by the North Korean's to buy time as well as to obtain the resources that's enabled them to continue to build the threats that confront our nation. In essence, he believes diplomacy has been a failure up to this point, yet the alternative can be very costly in terms of lives lost. Unfortunately, we may have no other choice but to act preemptively to protect our nation.

Does China have any culpability in all of this? Successive administrations have told us that China is our partner in trying to contain the North Korean threat. Frank has never believed that and it's become increasingly apparent that China has actually been enabling this threat. Frank described the contrast this way: North Korea has made advances in nuclear weapons technology, yet this is coming from an impoverished, backward nation. They could not possibly do this by themselves. In other words, Frank believes North Korea has been benefiting in this way from China. So far from being a partner, he believes China is enabling this threat.

Russia and China are aggressively expanding their nuclear arsenal. Are we keeping up with this? Do we recognize this threat? Having worked for the Reagan administration, he recognizes how that was the 'heyday' of America's attentiveness to the need to have a reliable, safe, effective and credible nuclear deterrent. Ever since, we've been neglecting our nuclear arsenal. In fact, we haven't even tested an underground nuclear weapon since 1992 and have scarcely done any modernization. So we're basically living off the legacy of what was accomplished during the Reagan years.

ROY MOORE, SHARIA & THE WAR IN TRIPOLI
Chris discusses the aftermath of the recent election in Alabama, where Judge Roy Moore lost his attempt at gaining a Republican Senate seat — why was he so opposed by the Republican Party?  Also discussed are two court cases that some believe contain elements of Sharia law here in the U.S., and a review of Thomas Jefferson’s conflict against Islam in the Barbary Coast War in Tripoli.
