Rich Man and Lazarus part 1 - June 15, 2016

Today we begin a multi part series on the story often titled "The Rich Man and Lazarus." The text, taken from Luke 16:19-31, is rich in meaning. It encapsulates much of what I want to be very prominent in my ministry of preaching and teaching God's Word. In today's program we look at the passage from a bird's eye view. Is this a parable? Is it a real account in history? Why did Jesus teach in parables in the first place?
