Santa Pause part 1

Scripture says we are to "test all things and hold fast to that which is true" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). We are to test everything through the lens of Scripture. For the next few programs we will apply this biblical command to one of the most iconic figures of Christmas, Santa Claus. I am not at all trying to be a fuddy-duddy or a stick in the mud but I believe there to be ample biblical reason for us to take a long hard look at this mythical figure. Today we will see that the origins of Santa Claus are not as genteel as many of us have imagined.
