Brannon found this very interesting since one of his favorite television programs as a child was Big Valley. The wealthy Barkley family lived just outside of Stockton and were hard working, capitalist, that made their money raising cattle among other business endeavors. The family was very traditional and often opposed by people that were criminals as well as jealous of their success. Yet, the show portrayed them as the heroes of the program and the jealous criminals as the villains. Today’s television programs often portray hard working, wealthy, and traditional families as the criminals and the social justice warriors as the heroes. Thus is it any wonder that 58% of millennials want to live in a nation with some form of socialism? Topic: If you destroy Christianity you destroy the free-market system.
