The Next Food Crisis: Worldview Report transcript August 17, 2022

INTRO: In shades of Hunter Biden, Nancy Pelosi’s Son, Paul Pelosi Jr., has been in on some whopper deals overseas, so why did he secretly accompany his mother on the trip to Taiwan, at taxpayer’s expense? We’ll investigate.

It’s been said that America runs on coal. We have some of the world’s largest coal deposits and using that resource powers our electric grid, not only for residential homes but for factories. Now, a key court ruling from an Obama judge threatens to shut down coal mining on public lands.

The world’s largest social media network is at it again as we learn tonight that it’s purposely shutting down all posts about people dying “suddenly” within weeks of getting a Covid vaccine.

The Vatican is out with a new propaganda video that seeks to convince you to get vaxxed. It’s your moral obligation, according to the pope.

And we have an in-depth report tonight about the global war on farmers, which translates into a war on food. Why do global elites want to buy farmland and put farmers out of business in some of the most productive farming countries in the world, the Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Italy and Spain? We’ll fill you in on where this agenda is coming from and what it’s trying to accomplish.

All these stories and more when the Worldview Report begins, right now!

Good evening everyone and welcome to the Worldview Report. I’m your host, Brannon Howse.

Reports have been coming in that the FBI took documents that are protected by attorney-client privilege as well as separate documents protected by executive privilege during their raid last week of Mar-a-Lago, reports journalist J.D. Rucker at The Liberty Daily.

If true, Rucker writes, it would be a tremendous breach of protocols, not to mention breaking the law, adding:

“But the lawless Department of Justice under Merrick Garland has refused to allow a special master to be assigned to go through the documents and determine what is privileged and what isn’t. If indicted, Donald Trump can use this in his defense; we’ll discuss further if it comes to that.”

Trump has responded on Truth Social to the report as follows:

“Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged ‘attorney-client’ material, and also ‘executive’ privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken. By copy of this TRUTH, I respectfully request that these documents be immediately returned to the location from which they were taken. Thank you!”

It’s a lot more polite than most would have been. Considering all he’s been put through in the last week, not to mention the previous seven years, it’s amazing that he’s still able to “respectfully request” anything from these tyrants.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's son is the second largest investor in a Chinese tech company whose senior executive was arrested in a fraud investigation, according to, raising questions about his secretive visit to Taiwan with his mother.

53-year-old Paul Pelosi Jr did not publicly disclose his stake before accompanying his mother on the taxpayer-funded trip to Taiwan

Paul Pelosi is not only a major investor in Borqs, a player in the Chinese internet-of-things and 5G sector, but has also worked as a consultant for the firm, rewarded for his services with 700,000 shares in the firm, at which time his holdings were exceeded only by the company’s CEO.

Upon learning that Pelosi Jr. had tagged along with his mother’s delegation, several Taiwanese politicians, including the former chair of the island’s financial supervisory commission, have demanded to know whether the island’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party had a financial relationship with the Pelosi family and whether the congresswoman’s visit involved business interests.

The younger Pelosi was not listed as a member of the delegation and had no government post or other stated mission to carry out, Zero Hedge reports.

It is unclear what Pelosi Jr.'s role at the company was.

Pelosi Jr. was also appointed to the boards of two lithium mining companies in 2020 and 2021. His appointments have drawn new scrutiny following his visit to Taiwan, a lithium mining capital.

His role involves "making explicit introductions between Altair and potential strategic partners in the various industries of interest for expansion," according to a press release at the time.

Viewed in context, we must not forget that Pelosi and her husband have been accused of insider trading regarding Paul Pelosi Sr.’s stock trades on tech giants Apple, Amazon, and Google parent-company Alphabet last month, which netted the family millions in profits.

While the House speaker makes $223,500 annually in her government role, her net worth is estimated as high as $252 million, based on her own financial disclosures.

Zero Hedge concludes by stating:

“One could be forgiven for seeing a pattern here among the highest-ranking Democratic party officials whose offspring appear gifted at discovering lucrative positions in foreign companies while their parents run the largest economy in the world.”

Coal leasing is temporarily banned again on public lands after a Friday ruling by an Obama judge.

The Independent Sentinel reports that almost half the nation’s annual coal production is mined by private companies from leases on federal land, mainly in Western states, including Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado, Fox News reports. The hard-left environmentalists also want to quickly ditch the remaining existing leases. As a result, we would have no coal.

In the U.S., electricity relies on coal.

Jenny Harbine, an attorney at Earthjustice who represented the environmental groups, said, “While this ruling reinstates the moratorium on new coal leasing on public lands, the Biden administration must go further by urgently phasing out the existing coal leases that are destroying our planet.”

It’s not destroying our planet, but these people are believers and way too powerful.

On Friday, federal Judge Brian Morris of the U.S. District Court in Montana reinstated an Obama-era moratorium. As a result, coal leasing is temporarily banned on public lands.

The ruling reinstates a 2016 order by then-Interior Secretary Sally Jewell banning coal leasing on federal lands pending further environmental review because of coal’s contribution to climate change. That order was scrapped in 2017 by Ryan Zinke, the Trump administration’s first Interior secretary.

Morris is an Obama judge.

Federal land leased for coal mining has declined steadily since 1990, from about 730,000 acres under lease to 435,535 acres in 2020.

Blacklisted News reports that Facebook has hidden posts with the hashtag “#diedsuddenly” because it claims that some of these posts violate its far-reaching community standards. When users search for this hashtag, no results are displayed and Facebook shows a message stating that the results are hidden.

While Facebook doesn’t specify which rules these posts allegedly violated, Twitter users have been using the hashtag to share news stories about people who died suddenly. Most of these Twitter posts note that those who died were fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

If Facebook users are posting similar content under this hashtag, the posts are likely to violate the tech giant’s ban on a wide range of COVID-19 vaccine claims. Facebook prohibits claims that “vaccines are toxic, dangerous, or cause autism” and reduces the distribution of “shocking stories” about the vaccines. One of Facebook’s examples of a shocking story is “Uncovered: See the 632 reports made of people who died within a week of having the new COVID-19 vaccine.”

The blocking of this hashtag is the latest example of Facebook censoring content that is critical of or raises questions about the COVID-19 experimental gene-therapy injections. Throughout the pandemic, Facebook has also mass censored anti-mask contentanti-lockdown content, and content that said the coronavirus came from a lab, a censorship policy that was suddenly reversed after the Biden administration announced it would be investigating the origins of COVID.

Statistician Steve Kirsch and oncologist Dr. Ryan Cole recently made a podcast more than two hours in length in which they attempted to answer the question, why aren’t doctors and scientists seeing vaccine-related deaths.

The answer, they concluded is because they aren’t looking. They have steadfastly turned their heads away from everywhere that the evidence exists that these injections are killing people. Killing them in large numbers.

Take a look at this excerpt from their conversation.

In recent weeks, public health agencies have been decelerating their national drives to get everyone injected with the COVID bioweapon, perhaps believing that if you haven’t gotten your first two doses by now, you probably will never be convinced to do so.

Or, maybe it’s just a temporary reprieve, with the high-pressure tactics ready to resume as fall rolls around in a few more weeks.

But one global organization that has never taken its foot off the propaganda pedal is the Vatican. In fact, it’s stepping up its efforts to spread vaccine misinformation, deceiving Catholics into thinking that accepting endless shots and boosters represents “an act of love” for your fellow man.

The Vatican just released a new propaganda video renewing calls for vaccine development and distribution for the novel coronavirus.

“The Pandemic and the Magisterium of Pope Francis” is the third in a series of videos created by the Vatican in collaboration with its COVID-19 CommissionVatican News reported Friday.

Watch this stunning propaganda film produced by the Vatican and distributed by the Vatican News Service.

Very slick production there and full of lies, almost guaranteed to deceive at least a segment of the Catholic population who still sees this pope as infallible.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has told the Wall Street Journal that Washington has rejected traditional diplomacy, and in the absence of a great leader, has driven the nations to the precipice of world war over Ukraine and Taiwan.

Kissinger said in the interview, published on Saturday:

“We are at the edge of war with Russia and China on issues which we partly created, without any concept of how this is going to end or what it’s supposed to lead to.”

Kissinger, now 99 years old, elaborated on the West’s role in the Ukraine conflict in a recent book profiling prominent post-WWII leaders. He described Russia’s decision to send troops into the country in February as motivated by its own security, as having Ukraine join NATO would move the alliance’s weapons to within 300 miles of Moscow. Conversely, having Ukraine in its entirety fall under Russian influence would do little to “calm historic European fears of Russian domination.”

Diplomats in Kiev and Washington should have balanced these concerns, he wrote, describing the current conflict in Ukraine as “an outgrowth of a failed strategic dialogue.” Speaking to the Wall Street Journal a month after the book’s publication, Kissinger stood by his insistence that the West should have taken Russian President Vladimir Putin’s security demands seriously, and made it clear that Ukraine would not be accepted into the NATO alliance.

The next food insecurity problem that may impact the way Americans eat could be an emerging potato shortage that began last year when yields were depressed due to a heatwave, according to Boise State Public Radio

Jamey Higham, president and CEO of the Idaho Potato Commission, told the Idaho-based media outlet:

"I'm not sure if you remember last June, but we had some just unbelievably hot temperatures here in Idaho. It did a number on our potato crop. And so, our yields were significantly down last year."

Boise State Public Radio pointed out that last year's potato crop cycle should last through August, but the lower potato crop yields have already presented consumers with higher prices at the supermarket.

Higham told Public Radio:

"There is not a gap. There are just less potatoes being shipped right now than there normally are this time of year because of the shorter supply that we started the season with.”

Higham expects potato prices to remain high at least through the end of this year.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary. Tonight, we look at the global war on food, which is increasingly manifesting itself as a war on farmers.

Farmers in the Netherlands have voluntarily reduced nitrogen emissions in recent years by nearly 70%, but the government says that is not good enough and is demanding that they cut their nitrogen by another 50% by 2030.

According to Real Clear Investigations, by the Dutch government’s own estimates, 11,200 farms out of the roughly 35,000 dedicated to dairy and livestock would have to close under its policies; 17,600 farmers would have to reduce livestock; and total livestock would need to be reduced by one-half to one-third. The Dutch government has demanded that animal farming stop entirely in many places. Of the $26 billion the government has set aside to reduce emissions, just $1 billion is for technological innovation, with most of the rest allocated for buying out farmers.

This effort has touched off a fierce blowback from Dutch farmers, who argue that the government seems more interested in reducing animal agriculture and putting them out of business than in finding solutions that protect the food supply and their livelihoods.

Caroline van der Plas, the founder and sole Member of Parliament for the Farmer-Citizen Movement party, told Real Clear Investigations:

“Why would you buy out farmers or reduce livestock when you have the possibility to invest in innovation? The car industry innovated for the past 40 years. There aren’t fewer cars and the cars we have are cleaner. Why don't we treat the farmers just like the car industry? Give them time to develop solutions or innovate? We can produce food in a much more efficient and cleaner way if we do that. And it's much cheaper also than by buying out farmers.”

Here's what’s at stake.

The Netherlands is the largest exporter of meat in Europe and the second largest exporter of food overall by economic value in the world, after the United States, an amazing accomplishment for a nation half the size of Indiana.

We know that the global agenda coming out of the World Economic Forum is anti-meat. They want us to eat fake meat, grown in a lab. So, it would make sense they would start their war on farmers in The Netherlands.

But it’s already expanding beyond the Netherlands. Canada, for example, is seeking a 30% reduction in nitrogen emissions by 2030.

Gunter Jochum, president of the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association, said: “If you push farmers against the wall with no wiggle room, I don’t know where this will end up.”

Canada’s spring wheat yields increased over 40% from 1990 to 2020, for one simple reason, increased use of nitrogen-based fertilizers.

The most destruction of this war on farmers took place in the tiny country of Sri Lanka, where a 2021 fertilizer ban led to a massive reduction in yields, sparking starvation and an economic crisis until it bankrupted the nation. Because agriculture is a source of greenhouse gases, and the governments of the world have dogmatically signed onto a U.N. agenda calling for net zero carbon emissions, a global food crisis is now percolating.

Why are politicians pushing this agenda at a time of rising food insecurity?

They’re doing it because they are puppets of the World Economic Forum, whose leaders, men like Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates and Yuval Noah Harari, have repeatedly said there are too many useless humans on the planet and to save the planet we need fewer humans exhaling carbon dioxide, eating meat from livestock, driving cars and running air-conditioners in their homes.

Their strategy seems rather simple: Foment wars, famine and plagues for the purpose of population reduction.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in. God bless you all and may God save America.
