“Ben had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home, where God used the godly example of his family to bring him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In September of ’99 Ben married his beautiful wife (highschool sweetheart!) Stephanie, and is father to three boys Samuel, Jacob and Luke. Ben and his family moved from Minnesota to Louisville in 2007. One of the many reasons I love The Silver Dollar!
Many people donated food for the meal, and volunteers signed up to provide rides to the Frankfort Avenue restaurant for families that don’t have cars.

Glorify God by partnering with local churches to love refugees and immigrants.
RELATIONSHIP-driven programs, not just community centers
https://www.refugeintl.org/welcome-teams
“Refuge Welcome Teams are trained groups from local churches who befriend refugee families and help them transition into life in a new culture. Whether it’s grocery shopping together, riding to a doctor’s appointment, or celebrating a refugee’s first birthday in America, Welcome Teams have innumerable opportunities to love refugees.”
“Where a refugee might otherwise feel lonely and isolated, Welcome Teams are able to come alongside them and let them know that they are not alone on their new journey in a foreign land.”

The above efforts all fall under the problematic Faith Based Partnership Models which makes funding form the Federal Government and other internaitonal and private organizations available to participating ministries and churches . VERY Dangers and a conflict of interest and inhibits ministry of the Gospel or any”explicitly Religious Activity by law.
CONCLUSION
Mohler attends a Baptist church which pastor by one of his disciples which is doing “Community Service “model of Social Justice WOKE ministries including Public School involvement, Foster Care Training , AND Refugee Resettlement Volunteer Training with partners from the Refugee Organizations and The University of Louisville along with private Real Estate interest who support the Refugee Resettlement with housing.
According to a former Muslim who is a Christian refugee in the US -All “Religious Refugees” must apply for immigration to the US through the United Nations and Muslims are “moved to the front of the line right behind LGBTQ “Refugees” and Christians are placed at the back often waiting for 5 years or more “.
So Mohler’s church like Summit of current SBCPresident J D Greear are training their people to be the welcome wagon and use their churches as “Welcome Centers for Muslim Refugees ” along with the LGBTQ refugees at the front of the line.
https://www.refugeintl.org/asylee-program
“Refuge is partnering with churches to help families who are seeking asylum due to dangerous conditions in their home country by helping to provide Housing, Food, & Fellowship.”
This is nothing new for Mohler as his former pastor Kevin Ezell is using the resources of North American Missions Board /Send Relief and the SBC Cooperative Programs to do the VERY SAME.
“ALPHARETTA, Ga. (BNM) – A May 2 conference hosted by the North American Mission Board hopes to encourage and equip Christians to love their Muslim neighbors.”
“The one day conference, “Islam and North America: Loving Your Muslim Neighbor,” will take place at NAMB’s offices in Alpharetta, Ga. A simulcast of the event will be available online at www.namb.net. Registration for both the conference and simulcast is free.”
“During the event, speakers Bob Roberts, Ed Stetzer, Andy DeFelice, Micah Fries, Keith Whitfield and Kambiz Saghaey will teach attendees “how to share the Gospel with Muslims while being sensitive to the fact they may have encountered negative reactions from others in [their] community,” according to a NAMB promotional email.”
“Muslim populations in the U.S. are often fearful due to both real and imagined prejudices. This makes it all the more important to begin a relationship with a Muslim or a Muslim family from a posture of genuine neighborly love. We want to share with and show those in your church how to love your neighbors in ways that open doors for Gospel conversations,” NAMB added.”
As SBC President Albert Mohler would no doubt be CALLING ALL SOUTHERN BAPTIST to volunteer and Baptist Churches to become Muslim Welcome Center. In June 2020 at the SBC Orlando Baptist need to say “NO THANKS Albert Mohler- we will use our churches for the spread of the Gospel “.
