Jesus came to fulfill the law which He explained very clearly in Matthew 5, 6 and 7. Jesus said "that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and pharisees,you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." Examples of this required righteous behavior are explained in Jesus' teaching about not resisting evil instead of an eye for an eye, love your neighbor and your enemy, lust is adultery, anger is murder and the rest of Matthew 5, 6, and 7. In each He explains the inner principles Father God always intended. Any person who does what Peter says to do in Acts 2:38-39 "Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus (not the father, son and holy ghost)for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." This is one of the gifts Jesus was referring to that a believer must ask for in Luke 11:13. Doing these things Peter said to do is what gives the Christian the power to live Matthew 5, 6 and 7 so their righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and pharisees. Ask yourself, how did the apostles know that they, and others they prayed for in the book of Acts, had the infilling of the Holy Spirit? You are right the law has not passed away, but the inner principles are required of Christians.

There is already a good candidate running for that race on a constitutional platform, but on R ticket, R J Harris. Why bother to run and split the vote? There must be many other more needfull races to get involved in where there is NOT a good constitutionally sound candidate currently running.

Regarding feedback by "Age 66 PA". who quotes Colossians 2:14.
We ARE saved by Grace,but that certainly does not do away with the law. When man is BORN AGAIN, and errs in the flesh, Jesus says he will forgive us 7 X 70 of the same sin, in one day.
WHAT IS SIN ?
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
If Jesus cast away the law, as some teach, then a mockery is made of the shedding of Jesus' blood in ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS!
If there is NO LAW, it follows that there is NO RIGHT AND NO WRONG.
Jesus said:
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
17: And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
18: Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
[ Question: How can there be adultery, fornication, covetousness, blasphemy,murder, IF THE LAW WAS DONE AWAY WITH? ]
19: Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: FOR THIS IS THE LAW and the prophets.
Luk 10:25: And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26: He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
28: And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
So Jesus is telling the Pharisee to KEEP THE LAW.
Mt 14:4 For John said unto him, It is NOT LAWFUL for thee to have her.
Mt 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters OF THE LAW, judgment, mercy, and faith: these OUGHT YE TO HAVE DONE, and not to leave the other undone.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Acts 13:13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
14: But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the SABBATH DAY, and sat down.
15: And after THE READING OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS, the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
Acts 24:14 ....., believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
Acts 28:23 ..... both OUT OF THE LAW OF MOSES,AND OUT OF THE PROPHETS,, from morning till evening.
Jms 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
25: But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Jms 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal LAW according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

I'm trying the impossible. While working a full time job, I am running against a well entrenched and funded RINO and a "tea party anointed" Libertarian in the Rebublican Primary for Oklahoma's 4th District seat in the House of Representatives. I can't sit back and watch anymore, so I'm stepping out in faith hoping God will provide and open doors.
I need help. I need financial help and I need folks to talk about me and as they say on the internet, "make me go viral."

Plutocracy means the rule of wealth- literally rendered it means the rule of hell- the Rothschilds control half of the monetary wealth of the world - they are leading us into the Reign of the Beast by controlled opposition- both NeoCons & NeoLibs are being manipulated by the Hegalian dialectic- Thesis-Antithesis into Synthesis- 1 Tim 6:20 "turn away from atheisitic blathering & the >oppossing ideas< [anti-thesis] of what is falsely called knowledge" both sides are oblivious to their own shortcomings- and only aware of the polorizing disinformation that makes them think they are better than those on the other side.n A choice between Hitler & Stalin is NOT a viable choice- the "lesser of 2 evils" is a trap.
The plutocracy controls over half of the monetary wealth of the - both major political parties & both left & right gatekeepers in the lamestream media.

This presentation is a great overview of our Founders true intent - and the basis of their reasoning. You can find much more documentation to further support this brief summary at totaltruth.org - a FREE online Book. It also reveals the three-pronged "game plan" concocted by Secularists to undermine our Bible-based Constructional Republic.
The book's last chapter also argues for a needed mind-set adjustment in the way Americans in general - and Christians in particular - view the traditional political spectrum of Left -- Moderate -- Right wings, replacing it with a Jet fighter that is a metaphor for the fight between two diametrically opposed Worldviews -
Christianity vs. Secularism - in America. The very existence of America is at stake - including the well-being of our children and grandchildren.
I disagree with Mason's conclusion that "God judges nations." If nations are made up of people, and God (from His perspective) reconciled mankind to Himself through Jesus sacrifice, He would be guilty of double jeopardy to "punish nations - which are a collection of people." However, since we as a nation allow murder the unborn, there are natural consequences to sowing a culture of death that many if not all will reap - including a bankrupt Social Security System (which, it could be argued, undercuts a dependency on God.)
At issue is whether God operates by NATURE out of Law/Justice or Love and Mercy. I think that is why the Founders suggested we emphasize the New Testament over the Old. The Ten Commandments are "...the ministry of death " and "condemnation" meant for the unregenerated. (2 Cor. 3:7-9) That is why Jesus nailed ALL the Law to the cross - after He fulfilled it. (Col. 2:14) The devil uses it to condemn the saints so He disarmed him by replacing it with the "Higher Law" - Faith, Love, Liberty for all the reborn of God Himself who have a New Nature. (Rm. 8:1-2)
