What the others have said is oh, so true. When we try to make any really definite statement concerning right and wrong, we get the cold look, the rejection, loss of social acceptance and popularity. Jesus is the one who dogmatically said that He is the only Way. But we dare not even quote Him without being frozen out in any conversation. The brainwashing has been very successful - the number one social no-no is to appear intolerant. (Unless, of course, you are intolerant of a Christian).

I couldn't agree more with Kay. While I was listening to her tape, I couldn't get a scripture out of my mind that was in my devotional this morning, (Zech 4-6) Not by might (force, wealth) nor by power (strength, vigor) but by MY Spirit says the Lord God. I know God has a will -- and He has a plan. It is His will that we live a quite and a peaceful life and I also know He plans on bringing life as we know it today to an end with the return of Jesus Christ. I believe we should pray "and believe" that God can change hearts and minds all over American that they might see the error of their way. I have made a commitment to BELIEVE that God can do anything and if I don't think He can do it I will not bother to pray about. I am convinced in my heart if everybody and there are millions of us would PRAY and BELIEVE,God could turn this country upside down in no time. Let's act like He can and He will!! In His Name

You are exactly right that we as believers are and will be under stronger attack. Remeber the words of Aristotle. Tolerance is the last vestige of a dying nation. Cling to your faith in Jesus, the Father and Holy Ghost. Don't worry about what others think, Always tell the truth and proclaim the Gospel and testify to the truth of the Ten Commandments and the Salvation of Jesus. Proclaim Morality, stand up against Gay and Lesbian agenda's. Stare adversity in the face and know who is protecting you and always will. Kay is right America is under major attack and has turned away from our founding, but praying Christians and those who stand for Jesus and the ENTIRE scriptures will help America survive and or give srength to each other. Stay with and never care what your neighbors think of you for standing for the truth or even those tolerant ones that call themselves Christians. Not all that speak the name on the outside, carry the name on the inside.

Amen! Kay is absolutley right. Just 5 or 10 years ago I could speak of my faith without a negative response. Now....I get rollong eyes, dirty looks, or comments that I am so narrow minded. Dare I mention the name of Jesus. I can say God because that is not so offensive. But to say Jesus or comment about the way the world is and how there is so much sin in this country/world, many, (actually most) people look at me with this look that says I am so intollerable and many people will avoid me. I can see it in my neighborhood. As soon as I mention in any way that I watch christian programing and never watch secular tv..they instantly look at one another as though there is something seriously wrong with me. They have asked me why I have 2 sattellite dishes...one is for dish and the other is for Sky Angel, Then they ask what is that?! I tell them and they get very quiet and just "look" at one another as if to say.."uh oh, this is one of those!" Years ago I never got that kind of reaction, years ago that same senerio would be a way to wittness to others. Now, I am this intolerable christian. And there are times when I speak about gays, and even christians (self proclaimed) will tell me how wrong I am for being so hateful. I never speak in a hateful way, but that is the way they take it. Well, I see a day coming when I will be persecuted for my beliefs. And I believe that day is just a few years away, if not sooner!
