I completely agree with everything said in this article except to lump Piper in with the rest of those folks. Yes he has a book titled the Christian Hedonist, or something to that effect, but I read it and nowhere does he encourage Christians to live in sin. He was referring to finding your pleasure in serving Christ. Thus a Christian hedonist.
Like another article by Paul Proctor, Elvis is a perfect example of the spiritual state in America and apparently in much of the world.
