First of all, a side note, a relative of the Huxley's mentioned in the article-Aldous Huxley, became a literary figure of the early 20th century that wrote works calling for a return to moral authority and family values. In particular 'Brave New World'
Bravo! A spectacular, intelligent, and relevant article.
As Christians, we are obsessed with putting creationism into public schools so as to battle atheism. The battle begins however with another understanding. That evolution in itself is not proof of the non-existence of God. Anyone who tells you that is not teaching science, but philosophy. Religion in fact. I actually believe that evolution should not be taken out of the schools, but a clear understanding of what it means and doesn't mean-needs to come in.
But besides that, I would propose simply that Christian families need to stop looking to the public schools to be spiritual/apologetic leaders. When I have children, I will not pass that responsibility that is Biblically on my shoulders. Which goes back to the article from this website a week ago, 'Prayer in Public Schools? Wrong Question.'
Thank you very much.

Another great reason to homeschool your kids. Which worldview do you want your children to learn? A Biblical worldview learned from your family or one taught by your children's peers and secular teachers, teaching them these lies?
