I think I agree with the article. However, the writing is so obtuse to determine what Mr. Silva is saying takes a lot of re-reading.
This could be done in much more direct manner so as to make clear where he is going. I had to read nearly to the end to understand if he was supporting the "emmergent church" or against it.

Mr. Silva,
Great article! Thank you for respectfully pointing out the problems of some of the emergent community. Specifically, thank you for making a deliniation at the beginning of your article that only some (not saying what percentage) of emergent leaders are teaching heresy. The content and style of your article is well reasoned from Scripture and is respectful to the many in the emergent community that do not ascribe to heretical beliefs. Your article demonstrates that we can point out false teaching in love and do as my earthly father would say, "drawing bees is easier with honey than with vinegar."

the church i used to attend ,and no longer do . allowed yoga to be taught . they try and clean it up by calling it " christian yoga" . what nonsense is this ! the body of Christ has allowed the spirit of zen buddism to come into the house of the Lord and here in lies some of the influence of "emerging church " . but do they listen when you tell them ? NO ! the LORD does not need the things of the world to show HIS GODHEAD ! how insulting is this !
