Agreeing on Prophecy is a non-essential

Agreeing on the gospel is essential while agreeing on prophecy is a non-essential. As Augustine said, "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty and in all things love." In these last of the last days more than ever Christians need to have unity and love for each other. The Bible says that we should both look for Jesus return but shouldn't pick a specific date. The Watcher's Crown is an award given to all who longing and desiringly watch for Christ Jesus return.(2Tim.4:8) (Titus 2:13) Jesus put down the religious leaders for not undrestanding the signs of the times.(Matt 16:1-4) The Bible says no one knows the hour but also says we can and should know when when it is at the door. The world according to the Bible is without end. The meek will inhirit the Earth and Jesus will reign on Earth for a 1000 years.The Earth will not end however the age of grace will soon end. So we can comfort people in the fact that the world will not end on Dec 21, 2012. However we can not say America will not end. As a matter of fact Dec 21, 2012 is when America is due judgement from God. The number of God's judgement or testing is 40 years.Judgement came on Jerselem 40 years after they rejected and killed innocent Jesus. So to judgement is likely to come on America 40 years after Roe v. Wade decision to kill inocent babies in Jan 1973. It would make America due judgement on or before Jan 2013. Some dismiss the 2012 date because most of these predictions are made by non-Christians. Others say that God is pointing the way so that even secular people can understand that something big is going to happen. (earthquakes ect.) so that there will be none with an excuse for not getting right with God.The alignment of the universe on Dec. 21, 2012 is a rare astronmical fact just like the Star of Bethleham was a rare astronmical fact. Demons and evil people do sometimes tell the truth. (Acts 16:17)Evil false prophets will sometimes have gifts and make accurate predictions of the future. (Deut.13:2) God doesn't revoke a gift because the person becomes evil (example Balaam) We can agree that Christians as never before need unity and had better abide in christ and put on the hold armor of Jesus becuse bad things are coming such as one-third of the Earth will burn. While we know Jesus wants us to rejoice that He is about to return He also wants even more for us to spread the gospel and to impart before we depart!

JESUS COULD RETURN IN THE NEXT HOUR

I do not see how anyone can even guarantee that Jesus will not return BEFORE Dec 21, 2012. Can anyone guarantee that Jesus will not return today, or the next day. - Lou Newton
