Christains are being attacked because we have sit back on our lazy tail and let all this mess happen. Go to most any church and see if you hear a hellfire and brimstone preacher like we used to here. Sure, it was scary but it kept you in line. We should fear GOD. Preachers just preach what they think people want to here. 98 percent of them will not even consider preaching about Prophecy, which is what people need to hear for SUCH A TIME AS THIS. How do you think that Obama and this administration got elected? Christains voted for him blacks and whites. We have no one to blame but ourselves and deserve whatever GOD sends.

A call to Anguish

Christian where is your anguish for America's sins?
We, the Laodicean church are wallowing in the mire of pornography, abortion, drugs, legal and illegal, materialism, pride, sodomy, adultry, too many to count.
We have left our First Love.
We follow after the world.
Why are you reading this and not weeping?
Where is your spirit on these things?
Why aren't you moved off of your couches to serve the Living God?
What is so important in your life that you have no time to lead souls out of hell?
Is hell no longer real to you?
Are you embarressed to share Christ?
Shame on you!
Get on your face now and repent.
Stop window shopping in the mall, getting your nails done, golfing with the boys, watching sports, fixated on the television and Internet.
The Lord is NOT coming to whisk you away in a pre-trib rapture. You will be here for the tribulation and you weak believers will suffer greatly because of the weakness of your spirits.
Satan has the church right where he wants us,fat and lazy and apathetic.
We are the Church of the Pathetic Apathetic.
Be called to Anguish!
Put on sackcloth and askes, mourn and weep, for the time of weeping is coming quickly upon us.

What makes me sick is to see apathetic and lazy christians who are using Romans 13 to shirk their christian and civic duty to resist evil. We have spiritual enemies we must fight and physical enemies we must resist (I.E. POTUS, SCOTUS and congress) both peacibly while that lasts and forcibly when the time comes. Dietrich Bonhoefer made an excellent case for this. This is an ugly ugly time and my prayer for my Children is that Jesus is coming back soon - because if He is going to tarry for another half century or more we are in a world of hurt.

who's a heretic?

While we thank God for all you're doing, there remain leaders in the movement who freely use the term "heresy" when referring to others' perspectives with which they disagree. When the term is intelligently applied, it's true and God-blessed. But when it's carelessly applied to what was unanimously believed and taught by the pre-Nicene church, the Body of Christ suffers internal damage. I recommend www.earlychurch.com as an excellent guide; its goal is not propaganda, but exposure to what the disciples of Jesus' apostles passed on. For example, I've never seen such an accurate, succinct exposition on Gnosticism; few today have a clue as to what they taught and why, and what Gnostic ideas many western church groups hold to as truth, but were labeled by the early Christian leadership as "Gnostic/Antichrist." Press on, brethren!

If it's true, it's not new; if it's new, it's not true. The recently contrived doctrine of "Pre-tribulation Rapture" (less than 200 years old and unheard-of prior to 1830 - check it out) has left most of the Occidental Church totally unprepared spiritually for the coming persecution. It's not exactly "coming," it's simply spreading out from where it's been alive and well for centuries. This new doctrine noted above has promoted passivity in the Body of Christ to the point where, yes, we spend more on pet food than supplying selfless missionaries with their necessary Bibles and other literature.
Bottom line: God speaks to many but He's heard by few. Matthew 24:4 is only obeyable when John 10:27 is embraced as true for all time. And strong delusion has begun.

Often asked question

Our earthly home is extremely temporary in God's eternal plan. God gave Satan to dominate the earthly world, but at the same time, He gave Jesus to defeat Satan. The "horrible" things are only horrible for those who choose Satan instead of Jesus. There is an old adage, not particularly Biblical, but full of truth none the less: "If you love someone very much, you must let them go free. If they return to you, they are yours. If they do not, then they were never yours to begin with." George Cancilla

To the one who’s question & quote, "What? Posted On: 09/16/09 01:24:29 AM Age 28, NE If god is so powerful how are Christians under such horrible attack? Shouldn't his chosen people be untouchable? You'd think he would at least back up his own favorite people. Why worship a "friend" that doesn't even care about you?"
You sound like a person who is looking for the truth. I pray God to open your heart & receive all the wisdom He can pour out on you.
Please believe... 'God is powerful!' DO NOT take a chance on believing anything different. Why take a chance? There is a here-after death. Either with God or without Him. Without Him is HELL! Hell is torment & it is FOREVER, just like HEAVEN is peace & it is FOREVER!
(god should be spelled with a capitol G, & he is not just a friend, He is GOD!)
God sends the rain on the sinner just like he does the saints. God could have made us robots... but He wants us to worship, love, & believe in Him because we choose to. It is FAITH we must have in Him... God will one day bring an end to all this happening on earth... He will bless His chosen ones, 'The Jews', because they are going to turn back to Him. But if for nothing else, but to prove His word. But that is not the reason He'll do it. He'll do it BECAUSE HE HAD A PLAN & HIS PEOPLE TURNED AWAY FROM HIM & He had to turn His back on them, just like they did Him.
GOD CAN NOT LIE! It is so sweet & wonderful to be able to rest in this FAITH in believing in Him.
I know this because He says so, that's all I need, because He has proven it to me. I lost a son to cancer at the age of 26. He was the youngest of 6 siblings, & brother to a twin sister. There is not enough space here to share with you what God carried us through during his illness & after his death. To express the wonderful love, joy, & happiness God showered us with through all that. Yes our hearts hurt... Yes, we miss him. I asked God to give me joy through it... & the joy is indescribable.
I write all this with a loving heart for you. I pray God send someone to guide you in following our Lord, Jesus Christ. AMEN

Is America at a Dangerous Tipping Point for Receiving G-D's Judgement?

This article was truly ordained of G-D! Thank you so much for the wake up call!!! In June of 2005, the L-RD gave me Ezekiel 14 and gave a time frame. Unfortunately, I believe it is too late for the United States!!! We, as believers, have gone along to get along! Not everyone, but many preachers have not preached the unadulterated word-of-G-D!!! We have preached a lying message of tolerance when G-D specifically said through Paul (even though to Timothy, the same applies to true sent ministers-of-the Gospel) in 2 Timothy 4:2 "Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching".
May G-D continue to bless and keep you as you speak the truth in love!!!!

Great article! As a Messianic Jew, I truly believe we have a biblical mandate to pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. We are also mandated to bless Israel.
One correction though, the statement
"by weakening Israel's national security and making them venerable to a nuclear strike by Iran"
should be "by weakening Israel's national security and making them vulnerable to a nuclear strike by Iran"
In our current battle, we must resist the evil that this administration is attempting to propogate, while praying for the salvation of our leaders (BHO is NOT a Christian).

In Romans Paul also points out that when God is removed sin keeps escalating as god is rejected. The wrath of God is More sin upon sin. I have lived through all the years of more and more sin, we are about as far as God will allow. Something is going to happen soon, be right with God.

Govt. and people are not the same
| Posted On: 09/15/09 07:20:07 AM |
Age 55, KY |
America is a divided nation. The government is the source of the division. Even within the government there is division. Barrack Obama proclaimed that this is no longer a Christian nation. In certain ways, that statement is correct, but not in the way Obama said it.
America was founded on Christian principles. Our laws were based on the Bible because our people were Christian from many denominations, howbeit, our founding documents were non-denominational, but certainly based on the God of the Bible, not on "Allah," or any other false god or false religion.
In 1962-3 Justices in our Supreme Court in 5-4 decisions removed prayer and Bible reading from schools. This began the secularization of American government, contrary and in rebellion to our founding documents. A great flaw in our Constitution was revealed, the inability of Congress to directly check a wicked decision of the court. The super majority in Congress needed to write a new amendment to overturn this ruling failed by one vote. The majority of Americans and Congress wanted school prayer.
From that dreadful day we've seen the courts undermine U.S. laws by perverting the Constitution and usurping the power of Congress against the will of the people. This rebellion against our founders and the government of, by, and for the people continues to this day with now Congress and the President joined in the rebellion, howbeit Congress is still divided.
Pastor Steve Brown, MDiv Asbury, has told me that there are still a majority of Americans that want good and just laws, including prayer in school, elimination of abortion, and marriage only between one man and one woman, but our Constitution needs amending to curb the usurped power of the out of control courts and to place "original intent" as the only means of judging our Constitution's meaning. Darwinian style Evolution in law, called positivism, has perverted the correct interpretation of law and tempted judges to change clear laws by reinterpretation, skirting the law making process and making the Supreme Court a sort of oligarchy of power within our government, giving them absolute power in law.
American Christians need leaders who know their God and not hirelings. Current leadership has perverted the gospel and sold out Christ for the world, rejecting the cross. Many Christian are, thus, left without leaders and a church to serve the Lord, that is, within the modern church. The perversion in the church has allowed this perversion in our government and is a current impotent force.
May God have mercy on us and help true believers to rise up and pray and work for their nation, opposing wicked laws and leaders, both in our government and in our churches.
Sincerely,
Doug Roy

As Billy Graham said...

Our Republic, which most ignorantly call a democracy, is in the most precarious situation that it has probably been in since the Civil War, and maybe since the Revolution. Our Judaeo-Christian heritage is gasping for breath, our military strength, our economic strength, our technology, our educational (indoctrination) system, all our once great systems, are falling or have fallen, even though most of our populace doesn't seem to realize it. We are governed by evil men and women, who are placed in office by evil and ignorant men and women. We have slaughtered 50 million or so unborn, we have encouraged and legalized and given special status to aberrant life (death) styles, we have criminalized worship (even acknowledgment) of God in the public square, and not only are we ripe for God's judgment, we should be both thankful and surprised that it has not been more harsh than it has been so far.
As Billy Graham said, "if God does not judge America, he will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah."
And, yes, if America abandons Israel it may indeed be the last straw.

Some sort of judgment or tribulation has been coming upon the United States, but I don’t think it has much to do with supporting or not supporting the nation state of Israel. A vast majority of U.S. citizens worship the almighty dollar over and above the Almighty God. We could expect this attitude from non Christians, but even professing Christians tout their fancy church houses and are guilty of storing up treasures on earth. “Churchianity” has prevailed over Christianity in the U.S., and has become an industry. Many who call themselves Christian are more concerned with public morality, social responsibility, and church membership, than they are with the simple teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These particular Christians are PROUD of their earthly temples and their college educated pastors who eloquently preach what their congregations want to hear. In general, these Christians are the ones Jesus was addressing when He said: “Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men, is abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:15). It is ironic that for many years U.S. citizens have exalted themselves above the rest of the world, but our involvement in global economics and politics is turning on us, and will humble us to a lower standard of living. None of this is to say that diligence and hard work resulting in prosperity is sinful, but God better get the glory. We should not take for granted the many blessings God has bestowed on America. Over the years as America has grown, more and more people have refused to acknowledge that all we have is a gift from God; and in the past, He has been faithful to bring such arrogance into either captivity or destruction. “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverbs 16:18).
