Thank you so much for writing this! Somewhere there is evidence supporting that entire education of a child K through 12 would only cost about $1800 total for all 13 years, which included the discs and the computer (that was before thumbdrives) and a child could complete and comprehend, before age 12, the entire contents. But our children supposedly need socialization -- socialization. socialized nation...'sounds much the same, doesn't it?

There is no need for "professional" teachers through the high school grade levels. The more these teachers insist on getting exorbitant salaries relative to others in their communities, the more likely they will be shut down completely because of lack of funds. Much money is wasted on this public education process that could otherwise be put to better use providing productive places of employment for students. If the society is corrupted by NEA people, then it will not be productive enough to support the NEA concept. Maybe we should consider cutting this demise short by nipping the NEA in the bud now.
