LUST and the American dream
Posted On: 06/29/09 09:10:21 AM Age 54, AR
I don't believe there is a more influential false god in America than LUST. It has become synonymous with the American dream. This is the main stated reason why Muslims are afraid of the influence of the "Great Satan" America. Michael Jackson and Farah faucet were influencial in causing countless teenage boys to lust. Farah Faucet said she was glad she posed for Playboy magazine when she was over 40 because "it broke new ground". I wonder what new ground Farah faucet and Michael jackson are breaking today. "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched" Mark 9:42-43

Crucify it.

Ooh, can I answer that? JD, kill your lust. Crucify it. The heart knows the difference. You are not put here on earth to size up the looks of a woman. With the first look, see them as God does, or your daughter that that you don't want others to lust after. Don't take a second look and that fine line will fade. Tempation will remain in the world but it doesn't have to remain in your heart. Turn your eyes, and keep them from obvious places as well. Then you won't need to ask this question again. God Bless.

Attractive vs Lust
Posted On: 06/23/09 10:18:06 AM Age 40, FL
Ray- Thank you for your God given wisdom. I have a few questions from a Christian male perspective. I would like to hear your take. Is there a fine line between looking at a women and thinking she is attractive OR looking at women and thinking she is attractive in a lustful way? How does a normal, born-again male battle the constant visual bombardment from women in today's society? I know there are obvious moments when a male is lusting BUT are there even subtle moments when a male is not aware he is lusting? Thank you again and I look forward to your feedback. JD.
