When education becomes a distraction from maintaining a godly family, then it becomes an evil endeavor. If "higher education" is not career specific, then it tends towards philosophical knowledge which produces virtually nothing, and it distracts from the wisdom of God. These philosophical distractions are "right" leaning as much as they are "left" leaning. It is not so much the "one party classroom" that is a problem, as much as it is the "let's party" atmosphere on most college campuses. When invalid ideas are taught in what is assumed to be a valid setting, then these ideas are often erroneously taken to heart. "Women Studies" could be considered such an idea. College usually produces "white collar" workers. What the U.S. needs is more "blue collar" workers. George Cancilla
