tattooed for life.

The only two thing I agree with, is you are Judged by having them. Make sure that you really want it.I tell young people all the time to; have some one draw with a pen body part, and see if you like it after three days. Get it. My God is a loving God,and his son died for my sin's Im sure he will for give me if I have inked colored skin.

I got new for you

Hey Eric, you seem like a nice guy, but I have some shocking news for you. The thing you call church is loaded to the gills with unbelievers. The children and grand children of truley born again people occupy the pew and pulpits of the average assembly and have allways been that way before the end of the first generation. That's why the craziness exist in what people call the church. Churchianity and following Christ are polar opposites and can't be ever fixed. Wake up those who are trying to "fix" the church it can't be. We should fellowship with only believers not unregenerate church folks.

Tattoo

I'd say that there is a fine line between the permanent marking of the body with a tattoo, and the adornment of the body with makeup (eye shadow, lip stick, etc.) or excessive jewelry. The latter markings are usually acceptable in most of society, whereas the tattoo markings are not. I would think that marking the body with a tattoo would not be Holy Spirit driven, but rather done out of rebellion or to make some worldly statement. However, if a person has had a tattoo before they made a commitment to Christ, then it would not be something that could be repented of. George Cancilla

Thank You

Eric, Thank you for your boldness in speaking out on this subject. As a youth pastor and a radio personality I have had many conversations concerning the passification of Christians justifying the acceptance of tatoos in the Christian culture. Instead of standing as a witness to the wicked world around us ministries and believers are simply aligning themselves with the world and often times for the sake of "reaching the lost". Unfortunately in this post modern society even conversing about this subject can often be moot because of the "right for me wrong for you" mentality. Christians need to stand for what is right and when there is a "gray area" make a mature decision to flee the appearence of evil and stand strong for what is right. Tatoos serve to be yet another idol that the world offers us seeking to draw us away from our Lord Jesus Christ and further into the narcisism.

Excellent!

I couldn't agree with you more. Most people can't even keep the same shirt for a year let alone a tattoo for a lifetime. The people that I know that have tattoos say that when they get tired of a tattoo they just get another one. Doesn't that just make perfect sense?Purvis
