Dr. Reagan is wearing blinders

Dr. Reagan's arguments against the scriptures that support Walid Shoebat are hollow, empty, and full of false premises. Reagan is grasping at straws to defend his own legacy. Try to read the scriptures literally! You may see that Shoebat's case is valid. Stan

WE ARE TO PICK UP OUR CROSS AND FOLLOW JESUS
Posted On: 03/17/09 10:16:59 AM Age 65, OH
David you have been posting articles about Muslims, the antichrist, the Muslim antichrist, and the return of Christ since the start of the new year. While these are thought provoking, here are the those thoughts that I have been provoked to think. Even IF we knew who the antichrist was to be, that knowledge would not protect us from being deceived by him. Our only hope of being saved form the antichrist is knowing The Lord Jesus Christ. Studying the counterfeit does not protect me from being fooled; it is studying the genuine that keeps us from being fooled. - Paul said he wanted to preach NOTHING but Jesus Christ and Him crucified. How does that apply here. To me it applies this way. Before Jesus was raptured, or taken up bodily into heaven, He was crucified and shed His own blood on the cross. Jesus told us all to take up our cross daily and follow Him. Peter did just that, for Peter was crucified before he was taken up to heaven. Peter still awaits his bodily rapture but his spirit has already went up. All of the disciples of Jesus took up their cross in some way. Even John had to go through the tribulation of his opponents trying to kill him and then being exiled. But while in exile, John had an experience with Jesus Christ and Jesus Revealed Himself to John and he wrote about it in The Revelation. - While Jesus did tell ONE of the seven churches this, "10SINCE YOU HAVE KEPT MY COMMAND TO ENDURE PATIENTLY, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth." We see that it was preceded by the fact that they had already ENDURED persecution from the synagogue of Satan who claimed to be followers of God, but were not. This promise was also ONLY FOR THE CHURCH THAT PROCLAIMED TO BE WEAK. Any church that proclaims to be strong has another letter addressed to them. The only other one of the seven churches that Jesus was pleased with and had nothing against was told this; 9"I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death." - Are we not to be conformed to be like Jesus, and if The Son of God learned obedience by suffering, how could any of us be conformed to His image without suffering. - Lou Newton

Timely & Correct

Thanks Dr. Reagan for this timely article which comes in the midst of much recent clamor that the antichrist could be a muslim. Those making such claims are misleading many who may be left to deal with his rule. Keep up the good work and sound doctrine. Bill Andrews Nagoya, Japan
