I see that we are headed to what the Bible has already proclaimed. Those of us here in America, even though we are going through our own tough times, seem to forget there is a whole other world out there. We become shortsited because of our own little and big problems. But, I think we forget that our problems are also global in that it's like the pebble in the water. And when that last little wave is investigated, we can see that it can all come back to one person doing what is right...or wrong. Satan is working and we must, as Christians, work God's work as well. He has already instructed us to preach to the Jew first, then the Gentile...are we doing this or are we just grumbling and complaining about our own issues? When all of the mess in the Middle East comes to a head, we really shouldn't be surprised, but unfornately, many will.

I firmly believe that Israel has done the right thing by putting Netenyahu back in charge. I have seen many interviews with him, and he know's the truth about his enemies. They do now want a two state solution, they want to wipe Israel and all of the Jews off the face of the earth. A litle dose of reality is just what is called for. And I am sure he knows that he cannot depend on Obama for any support. Obama is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Actually he barely tries to hide his fangs anymore. In six months he won't bother at all.

This is the reason that I was--and am astonished that Obama overwhelmingly got the Jewish vote...what were these folks thinking??? Altho they are American citizens, they are devoted to Israel. Long before the elections, Obama made it crystal clear that he was going to push this peace plan (Israeli peace plan = give up more land and security).

To say the nation of Israel has been replaced by the body of Jesus Christ is ridiculous; but it is also ridiculous to say that Abraham did not have TWO kinds of descendants. God told Abraham that he would give him descendants as the SAND and of the STARS. The nation of Israel is the descendants of the sand but the body of Jesus Christ is the descendants of the stars. No one is to support any nation no matter if they are right or wrong. We are to support justice and mercy and to follow the Lord Jesus. On one hand most of the Muslims have been murderers and liars, but on the other hand Israel has not always been right every time. I certainly do not support the murderers like Hamas or the leaders of Iran, but I do not automatically support Israel either. I support justice and mercy and truth. Lou Newton
