How will we reject it?

I agree with the article and comments about this spendulous package, but I question the last line of the article. Mr. Anderson wrote: "I believe that the public will reject this stimulus package the more they understand its enormous cost and limited benefit." How can the public "reject" it? Once it's done, it's done. Not very many people will refuse to "cash the check" so to speak. Even if the broad majority of the nation sees through this and recognizes this bill for what it is - the damage is already done. There is no rejecting it. The whirlpool has started and there's no going against the flow.

Actual Cost is Irrelevant Now

The cost is irrelevant because we can't sustain it anyway. In the not-too-distant future, the economy will collapse from the weight and we will either end up wards of another state or we will ignore the debt. Either way, 100 billion either way makes no real difference anymore.
Grace and Peace,

Does anyone else find it slightly ironic that President Obama just HAD to have his stimulus bill package passed and done so RIGHT NOW, but now that it has passed he has taken several days off to relax (?) Finally on Tuesday he plans to sign the package, so if it was sooo important, why didn't he sign it right away? Or was it more important that the Republicans NOT know all that was really in this package?
Also, was the extra time so they so they could arrange for more press coverage? I also found it interesting that they aloowed the democrats several days to review the package, but only allowwed the Repubicans 12 hours to look over 1,071 pages of information. We are becoming a divided land.

This money to Acorn is nothing but a payoff from obama to this crooked group that helped get him in office. If you have read anything about these crooks it should make you want to vomit. And this corrupt illegal pork spending i going to put people to work? How many people realized it would only take a few days of this socialist administration to destroy what was left of this once great nation?

Stimulus funding

I am not surprised to see these statistics. The stimulus package, like the bailouts before it, were designed by international banksters and corporate thieves to steal the wealth of U.S. citizens. Obama and Congress are beholding to those greedy elite fascists. George Cancilla
