Antichrist

I believe there are enough Scriptures to
narrow down the final man who will be filled
with the antichrist spirit of satan during
the tribulation period. Not the man specifically but perhaps geographically.
As we all know many antichrist spirits exist
today and I personally believe Islam fulfills a strong antichrist spirit today among others.
However Daniel 11:36-12:13 describes the antichrist as the "king of the north".
Daniel 2 and 7 shows the formation of the ten kingdoms formed of the old Roman empire. Daniel 8 gives additional information of four kingdoms of the Grecian empire which will arise from these ten
to form the revised Roman empire.
These four divisions are known today as
Greece, Turkey, Syria and Egypt. If we just looked to Daniel 7 and did not have the vision of Daniel 8, then we would assume the antichrist would come from
a European nation. So the conclusion is that we must narrow down the antichrist's
coming from one of these four countries.
Many teach that Russia is the king of the
north, but this is not true because Russia was never part of the old Roman empire out of which the ten kingdoms of the last days must be formed, nor was it ever part of the old Grecian empire. Scripturally I believe that the king of the North is Syrian and the King of the South refers to Egyptian.
Islam has also destroyed the Temple mount and continues to do so with digging and burying evidence of Jewish origins. They also have control and besides the abominations that have already occurred with Islam worshipping the moon good allah
on the Temple Mount, there will yet be a future abomination that occurs.
The Jews are still veiled from the Truth and receiving the Messiah until Jesus sets
foot on Mt.of Olives. They want peace at any cost and I believe will receive anyone who can come up with a peace plan that the Arabs and they can accept. All the nations of the earth are lining up against the Jewish nation and the pressure is mounting
rapidly upon them to accept a peace plan
to their own destruction.
God's time piece is Israel and Jesus has told us the "signs" of the season for His return. If you want to receive even more understanding on His return study the Feast of Tabernacles and I would recommend a series of DVD teachings on the Feasts of Israel by Mark Blitz which reveal Scripturally what most of us were not taught in the traditional church on the last days.

I have had this issue on my web site for 20 years and have always stated that the Anti-Christ would be a Muslim or have a Muslim background. I also have always stated that the False Prophet would be a 'faulty pope" (actualy the next one appointed).
This write from this man is the very first time I've heard anyone say the False Prophet would be a Jew. Never heard that one before, and I disagree with it totally.
I have ALWAYS stated and claimed that the Anti-Christ would be a Muslim or of Muslim background and that the False Prophet would be a 'Faulty Pope' and in fact the pope currently in office is the last pope of normalcy and doctrine we will see. And even he is setting the stage for the combinding of all religions into ONE.

For a long time it has been thought that the Anti Christ would be Roman. We must remember that the Roman empire was a lot larger when Christ was here on earth. So since the old Roman empire consisted of a lot of Arab land. Greece, Turkey, Syria and much of Europe was under Roman Authority. America is also a melting pot of many different races of people. The anti Christ could come from any of the these nations. Yes the Anti Christ could very well be a muslim. We must also take into account the fact that Muslims do not Recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The Muslims say Christ was a Teacher and a Prophet. They do not worship the same God as we do. We need to take every word that God gave us concerning the end times. The spirit of the Anti Christ is alive in many nations right now and the world is ripe for the One World order that so many are talking about, Henry Kissinger has said very recently, that Obama has been groomed to be the leader of the NWO and many nations will follow him. This Kissinger remark was printed on World net daily today. Right now many are calling Obama the Messiah. Some even think that Obama is a muslim born in Kenya. We know we are living in the last days by the signs we are seening unfold. We know that the Anti Christ will make an agreement with Isreal but after 3 years the agreement will be broken. We know also from Gods word that this Anti Christ will have a wound to his head and be supernaturally healed and will be a very evil. He will try to destroy Gods people and will even enter the temple in Jersulem. The list of countries that will come against Isreal in the last days are listed in the Bible as Muslim nations led by Russia and before it is finished God will put hooks in the jaws of all nations and lead them to the battle of Armegeddon. There Christ will plead for his people and destory those who fight against Isreal. Muslims live in every nation of the world and they want to destroy any one who is a Christian or a Jew. It could very well be that the Anti Christ is a Muslim. Pray for Jerusalem, and Pray for America to turn back to God. Anna, CA

What does it matter anyway because the anti-christ will arrive, and soon. The thought should and must be that we BELIEVERS must be ever ready and looking to the heavens for Christ's return (day and night) as He will come as a "thief in the night". For unbelievers, this may be your final opportunity to accept Jesus for who He is - the only begotten Son of the living God, and the second person of the Trinity. As simple as it can be, just "LOOK to Jesus and believe", turn away (do not look back) from the old self and be born again anew in Christ Jesus. That's it!

Daniel 9:26 clearly supports the belief that the anti-christ will not be a jew. This can't be more clear.
The reference to Rev 12:13-17 to support the idea that the Jews will reject the anti-christ as the messiah is terribly weak because this passage indicates that Israel fled from the anti-christ when he attacked it, but it does not "specifically" say why the anti-christ attacked. Therefore, in order to use this as support, we must assume that the attack was provoked by Israel's rejection. Again this is very weak support because there is no indication of such a rejection.
However, Daniel 9 provides enough clear information to support the idea that the anti-christ will not be a jew.

Perhaps. The Bible says this person will come out of the North (Dan 11:36f). That region today is comprised of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and part of Iran, areas inhabited mostly by Arab Muslims.

When we look at Daniel's prophecy of ten nations rising from the Roman Empire, and the fact that there ARE more than ten nations that rose from the ten tribes which ravaged Rome...of these, one of the tribes was the Hun, the ancestor of Turk, Finn and Hungarian.
The equation is further complicated by the presence of part-Europeans in regions such as the South Asian Subcontinent, as well as in UK, US and Canada--some of whom have non-European Muslim fathers, and are raised as Muslims.
So, the answer is a complicated "yes, Antichrist could be Muslim".
Corroborated by the historical similarities of Islam with Antichrist's religion:
(*) Antichrist forces a "mark" to identify his followers so they will be allowed to work or conduct commerce. Islam during initial takeover of Holy Land implemented a negative version of this--by forcing Dhimmis (subject peoples, NOT entitled to legal protections and services) to wear visible coloured (for Christians azure, for Jews yellow) patches on their sleeves or headgear (as Revelation shows, "arm" and "forehead").(*) also, Islam is known for forcible (oft involving hideously-torturous death) conversions--similarity with False Prophet killing those who will not worship beast/image

The Jews destroyed the Temple. The Temple is the body of the Son of Man. They crucified their Messiah. The LORD himself said "Destroy this temple and in three days... " The Jews know their Messiah will be from their own people. He could be from any country, he will be Jewish. Remember there are still blood lines out there from the lost tribes. Jews know that their blood is in every line of race on the planet. It is not impossible for a Jew to be Muslim. The plausible suggestion is that the Antichrist will be an Arab Jew. The Antichrist will have no devotion to a particular religion but will embrace all equally. Remember, he will think he is GOD.

The real spirit of Anti-Christ is found in the hearts of Mohammed Atta and his terrorist friends who murdered 3000+ innocent people in the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers. In exchange for the promise of 70 virgins in heaven, Atta and his friends spent the night before in a nudie bar giving in to their carnal desires. Hours later, 3000+ people of all descents, races, and religions were wiped out by these Muslim cowards. If you are a Muslim, answer this question, please. Did these 3000 people deserve that? Do you believe that Atta and his terrorist friends did the right thing?
It's a yes or no question. If you answer yes, then you also have the "real" spirit of the Anti-Christ.

do jews expect their messiah to be God in the flesh?
it is my understanding they are looking only for a man, a descendant of david, to be their "messiah" - the one who will restore the kingdom and give them their temple. they are not looking for one to save them from their sins. just give them back their kingdom.
if this is correct, they will accept antichrist as messiah, if he fits their criteria.

I thought that was part of the reason they rejected Jesus - He claimed to be God. He also did not restore the earthly kingdom as they expected.
if they are not looking for God to come in the flesh then they will accept a man as their messiah - if he meets their criteria of restoring the kingdom and giving them their temple. No?

It's interesting to read various ideas and speculations. However, God has not made that information available to us just as He has not given us the exact time for Christ's return.
Another thought to add to the mix is where the Antichrist will come from. As Satan's goal is to corupt man and mock God as much as he can while he can, wouldn't Satan be elated if the Antichrist came out of the land of Israel, where God's chosen people are. After all, the Antichrist is to be Christ and God like. Wouldn't it be all the more mocking if the Antichrist came from where Christ came from?

'God's War on Terror' by Walid Shoebat convinced me that the European /Roman A/C was wrong and the Muslim A/C paradigm is correct. It was difficult reading this book, not because of the words, but because my old ideas were being destroyed scripturally. There's so many more verses that support a Muslim A/C than the 4 or so passages that support the European /Roman A/C.
Muslim enditme prophecy equals Christian endtime prophecy, except good and evil are reversed.
The author was a Palestinian terrorist, now born again Christian. God uses a former terrorist to teach Christians our own prophecy ? God does work in unusual ways.
