When an economy collapses even gold and silver are worthless as mediums of exchange and barter takes its place. You might want to add toilet paper to the list.

How to prepare for the economic worst

If something is true, then it CANNOT be conspiratorial!
I wish that we would stop thinking this way. Truth by definition is exclusive. What we see happing before us is too obvious, the signs are too great for us to continue calling this a "conspiracy", implying that we're all a bunch of nuts wearing tin-foil hats. It is a historical fact that the rich and powerful will do ANYTHING to gain more wealth and power. This we know to be TRUE, therefore we should not be surprised when this kind of mendacity and deceit are perpetrated by the rich and powerful.

We cannot plan for the worst

It is futile to plan for a financial future when the very basics of the Federal Reserve private banking system remains in place. Reducing government spending is important of course, but much more important is the removal of the private banking debt based monetary system. In its place, a social credit system of currency creation, interest free, by the government can quickly restore value to our economy (a matter of a couple of years, not 20 to 30 years). In any event, that economy must be closed within the sovereign boundaries of the U.S. (This does not mean that we cannot have FAIR trade with the rest of the world). George Cancilla
