KENNEDY AND OBAMA ARE ELITISTS

Kennedy and Obama are elitists who think they know best for everyone. They are also elitist for the reason that they do not submit to their own solutions. Kennedy DID NOT have a GROUP examine when he had his tumor. The people are nothing but cattle to these two men, while they are elite human beings who are worthy of the best money can buy. Obama lives in a 2 million dollar mansion with 6 bathrooms for 4 people; while the poor people he was elected by in Chicago froze all the Chicago winter with no heat. Tony Rezco was paid millions by the government to fix the heat in these buildings, but he sent the money back home to Syria instead. When the poor freezing people sought out the help of Obama to force Rezco to fix the heat; Obama's law firm represented Rezco instead of helping the people. Rezco then bought Obama the mansion across the street from him. We will be herded through the doctors office like cattle, while Obama and Kennedy get the health care of the very rich. Both of these men will answer to The Lord Jesus Christ for the way they have treated the poor. Lou Newton

Health care is not a social cost

The first order of business for Congress as regards health care should be to remove the government from the health care industry. In spite of what Hillary thinks, it does not take a village to raise children or treat sick people. Mandatory insurance programs or HMO's only interfere in the natural pricing of the health industry, and usually tend to increase prices. Government intervention also encourages big pharmaceutical companies to call the shots, rather than doctors or hospitals. When insurance companies dictate prices for various procedures, then those people who do not have insurance coverage suffer. Government has a place to protect the uninsured, but not cover for them. Government can also act in a capacity to protect the doctors from ridiculous lawsuits, while at the same time protecting those who might have been harmed by malpractice. There is a lot of good legislation out there that could be put in place that does not have the government bear the cost of health care. George Cancilla

You clearly have problems with the Mass. health care plan, but you gave no proof as to why Obama is going to pick that plan and put it into place immediately. Obama did campaign with a federal health care plan but I never ever heard it refered to as the Massachusetts model either by Obama or the news media. You are assuming that Obama and Kennedy are buds and liars.
