We Had A Presidential Choice

There was one presidential candidate that shares your same view of the Federal Reserve, and was campaigning on the need to remove the Fiat currency system and the Federal Reserve Banks. He, too, predicted these massive bailouts in writings and speeches 8-10 years ago. As a side note, he is also very much pro-life. This candidate drew support from a diverse group of people (Rep., Dem., and Ind.), but also drew fire from those same groups. I think your description of him was "Kook", if I remember correctly. As a nation of good Republicans, we opted to go for the "lesser of 2 evils" in our support for president, because at least he had a chance to win. It will take a special politician to push through the changes necessary to return the US to a sound money system. We must all come together for the common cause of liberty if this ship is to be turned around.

A presidential candidate warned us too.

In this last election cycle, we had a presidential candidate who warned us as well. But, unfortunately, the Christian conservatives ignored him and distorted his views on abortion and homosexuality and chose to fall behind Huckabee who was not a real conservative. Ron Paul has been warning Americans about the federal reserve since the 70's. He was the only candidate running who knew the economy was about to head into a free fall.

Sinking Economy

Frankly, I am sick of working 80-90 hours a week to provide for my family of five, while, as the previous poster wrote, crooks are being rewarded for their wrong doings. Some years ago, before I came to the Lord, I put myself into some severe financial trouble. Did the government step up and bail me out? No!!! I filed bankruptcy and have suffered the consequences ever since. Our money is worth nothing now and worth less every day. The drop in gas prices will not last forever. My friends are being laid off at their factory jobs that they have been at for 15 plus years. I can carry out $100 of groceries in two hands. That does'nt go far in feeding our three children. I am still blessed in the way of having a great job for the time being. How long it will last, I do not know. I will end this in the way of the Apostle Paul. "Even so Lord, come quickly"

Private banking

It is very good that you have brought the subject of the Federal Reserve, and private central banks in general, to our attention. As we are confronted by economic crisis, and struggle for solutions; it is important to know that NO solutions will work as long as the current Federal Reserve private banking monetary system remains in place. Our primary political goal in this regard should be to remove the FED. It is our Christian duty to do so, because this current debt based monetary system jeopardizes our children to enslavement. Proverbs 13:22 says: "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children." George Cancilla

VERY TRUE

Wilson gave the people into slavery and it is even more true today. These bailouts have rewarded men who have committed fraud and it is the people who will pay. I see nothing that would indicate that this nation is not headed for hyperinflation and therefore total economic collapse. Lou Newton
