I am shocked that David Kinnaman, the president of the Barna group, is involved with this! I always thought they were an ultra-conservative group but I guess I need to do more research!

There is undoubtedly pockets of poverty throughout the world. An international effort is NOT what is needed to ease poverty conditions, but rather a LOCAL effort is apt to work, where direct aid can be applied to the most needy in small areas in the most efficient manner. Even then, poverty may not be easily erased, because it is a product of certain political and economic situations that vary from one country to another. George Cancilla
