NOAH WAS NOT A JEW, YET HE WAS SAVED

Since The Lord Jesus created man, there has been only one way to be righteous, and that has been to trust God to save you by His grace. Enoch, Methuselah, and Noah were NOT Jews and yet they were all righteous. If Noah was a Jew, then all the men of the earth would be Jews. The pharisees were Jews, yet Jesus told them that their father was the Devil. To say that the people of today that are in the true body of Christ are the true Israel is not a replacement doctrine. For all Israel was never righteous. There were people who were the natural descendants of Abraham who trusted in God to save them by Grace as David did and there were those who did not trust in God. Just as now there are people who belong to a church that trust in Christ and those that do not. True Israel has always been those who truly trust God to save them by grace. Jesus told the pharisees that they thought they had salvation, because they were natural descendants of Abraham. But Jesus went on to say, that God was not their Father, but the Devil was. The pharisees called themselves Israel, But Jesus told them that they were of Satan instead. The same is true today, many profess to be a Christian; but Jesus said it would be few that find Life. There has never been any replacement, there are only those who truly trust Jesus to save them by grace and those who do not. Lou

GERMANY WORSE OFF AFTER WW2

Thank you for the kind reply. I have a friend, Hans, who was born in Germany, who would disagree with you. He was an engineer who I worked with and led to Jesus. He was a little boy in Germany after WW2. He told me that after WW2 there were no homes to stay in or even get out of the rain. Almost all the homes in the cities were destroyed by bombing. There was no food, none. Hans hated so called Christians because the US army and other US organizations brought food into Berlin and gave it to churches to give out. But these pastors sold the food, instead of giving it out. Germany was totally destroyed after WW2. It was also cut into four pieces. After WW1 Germany was not destroyed, because the whole war was fought in France, not Germany. The US did as the Bible said and had mercy on all; even the Germans. My name is Newton and of Anglo- Saxon decent. That is German, but my other side is directly German ( Reinhardt). I do not hate Germans. But the Germans did elect Hitler and he was the one who brought on WW2 and the holocaust. This nation is now looking to Obama the same way Germany looked to Hitler. Lou

While I can't claim to know what Mr. Missler was thinking as he wrote this, I do agree with his statements about replacement theory being a great part of the Holocaust. It is because so many of the churches believed the replacement theories, that they didn't raise a voice when Hitler started his evil mission against the Jews. Those church leaders who believed in the promise to the Jews as the original branch, and that Jews who come to faith in Christ would also play an important role in the last days were the Christian people that died in the camps along with Jews. Also the Christia people who "hid" their Jewish friends and neighbors. So- while the silence of a great deal of Germans helped the Jews to the gas chambers- it was the belief in the replacement of the Jews with the church which gave a lending hand to Hitler and his evil plans.

God had a lot of grace on Germany, at least in the west, following WWII. After the Nazi leaders killed themselves, Germany was in much better shape than it was after WWI. USA embraced Germans as allies; USSR caged Germans as lab rats.

Chuck, you say, "replacement theology, in which the Church is viewed as replacing Israel.... this also led to the tragedy of the Holocaust in Europe". Did replacement theology put forth that Jews were vermin, of course not. But that is what the Nazis taught, that the Jews were vermin. Did not replacement theology teach that the true church was of great importance. But the Nazis also killed Christians who disagreed with them, did they not. Saying that replacement theology had anything to do with the Holocaust is like saying that Jesus dying on the cross caused the Holocaust. The cause of the Holocaust was the fact that Germany elected Hitler to power. They cared more about short term prosperity that justice. The US is the same today. If Obama is elected to power, the people will be responsible for his actions, the same as Germany was held accountable by God for the actions of Hitler. Lou Newton
