McCain believes in evolution, he just does not want more government in schools and thinks each state should decide if they want to teach both evolution and intelligent design.
So yes, Obama is the lesser of two evils, but McCain is lacking in the "Christian worldview" himself.

finding an impartial judge would be impossible - the judge would naturally bring his/her preconceptions for or against evolution into the courtroom. the same way any jury trial has preconceptions. now could you find a judge who could possibly set those preconceptions aside? perhaps but you would really not know. you might surmise that someone was impartial if they decide YOUR way but that may just mean they wanted to be the one to "PROVE" for the record books that evolution was false. imagine an atheist judge coming in and finding that creationism was true - he would then have to admit that God exists.

I went to an answers in genesis conference this summer with my family. I learned that we need to be careful in the words we use in this debate. One of the speakers made it clear to use the term Creation/Creationism not Intelligent Design. One reason for this is that Richard Dawkins when pressed on the origins of life, acknowledged an intelligent designer, however his idea of intelligent designer was an alien, not God. We need to be clearly for God, not mixed up with secular ideas and philosophies.

Obama's statement is so laughable. Thanks, Obama. I needed a good laugh.
First off, evolution can not be PROVEN by scinece. Real scientific findings are conclusive. Evolution has NEVER been found to be conclusive. Evolution is filled with key words such as POSSIBLE, THEORY, IT MAY HAVE, SUGGESTS, yada yada yada.
True scientits know this, that is why many have turned to the BIble for answers,- and many have put their belief in intelligent design.
Intelligent design is pure logic as well. You see a painting, therefore a painter exists, building; architect, art; artist. You get the picture? Creation; Creator!
Evolutionists through true science and logic out the window.

Thank you for your thoughts about I.D. Tis true what you've said; be wonderful if Obama & others would understand such things. One of the interesting things about this origins debate is that there is actually no evidence available for evolution. Lots of words but no hard, laboratory, evidence. They speak a big piece but their words are empty. For several years several friends of mine have been promoting a challenge to those who maintain evolution is valid. It is a contest which has been offered to evolutionary scientists around the world, people like Dawkins, etc. The idea is to bring their best evidence for evolution & a $10,000 check to a courtroom. Another individual with the best evidence for creation will also show up along with his $10K check. The evidence will be put in front of an impartial judge and he will decide where the evidence points and the winner gets both checks. To date, not one of several thousand evolutionary promoters have been willing to put their stance to the test. If their evidence is so overwhelming, as they say, why are they afraid? A line has been drawn in the sand and they have failed by default..they've taken their ball home and quit before the game was over.
Keep up the good work.
