This is an excellent article. As a husband, I can clearly relate to the importance of point #3. Although the husband is ultimately responsible, the wife can certainly set the tone in the relationship by her conduct. Additionally, point #6 is so critical. Women always crave emotional intimacy. Showing affection can also mean physical intimacy which men crave. Men will feel more open to giving emotional intimacy if their wives occasionally allow a little bit of physical intimacy. If men have to beg for any type of physical intimacy because the wife is either not open to it or is just intentionally withholding it, the relationship will suffer, regardless of how good everything else seems to be.
